Who the fluff is tengolotodo.leo ~ An Introduction

Hello Hello Lions in the Den!

I think it appropriate to introduce myself to the LeoVerse and spout forth a few of my thoughts and indeed my background.

This is my alt account, my main is @tengolotodo however I quickly discovered that many people on Hive treat crypto with disdain even though they earn fluffing crypto ... now work that one out!

So following in the footsteps of @ifarmgirl-leo I created an alt although mine is by and large only for posting on LeoFinance and on crypto/finance matters.

I have been around social platforms that pay for a good ten years now, but I was late to the Hive bandwagon, only signing up in September 2021.

The drama of the hardfork I saw playing out on twitter, little did I know I would join Hive a year later.

Crypto wise then I have had dealings in BTC since 2015, oh if I knew then what I know now, some of those would have been HODLed! Being a natural gambler thought, I do not do the If Only...

• If Only I put ten pounds on that horse that won at 10/1 instead of five pounds.
• If Only I bought ten times as much PEPE

Don't do that in crypto or you will forever be beating yourself up!

One of the appeals of Hive apart from being a place where we could blog, was that we could talk about crypto and financial matters, although I was warned that Leo Finance is a closed shop and a hard nut to crack. I don't give up though!

In the early days I tried to post here and make connections, but my posts on other crypto were not received well, well they were just ignored. The hard nut was indeed a hard nut, and unlike other Hive communities, I found engagement in Leo Finance a very hard thing to find.

Over the months I would come and go and no real headway was made in cracking this Leo Finance nut.

Zip to June 2022 ...

and I participated in the first LPUD and have been doing them ever since, even winning a couple of LP delegations. In August I started in the old version of threads, and have been threading ever since.

Then I made this @tengolotodo.leo alt and I enjoy it. I also help run the Silver Bloggers leo account @silverlions.leo with my partner in crime @coquicoin.leo

Threads has been a game changer for me and Leo Finance in general.

The short form content or microblogger is here to stay, kudos to Khal @anomadoul and everyone else working behind the scenes to get things up and running.

I am not a BTC maxi nor am I a HIVE maxi but I love crypto. Each to our own, likewise I am not a long-form content maxi nor a short-form content maxi, everything has its pros and cons!

If I am being honest, I would have liked to have seen more of the Leo OGs in threads. I believe that it would lend more credence to the project not of just being a cash grab for the LP whales with adrevenue, but it is what it is.

I have never been a saver, but thanks to @eddie-earner and Saturday Savers I have over 200 HBD in my savings, gotta love that 20% APR while it lasts right! Talking of savings I write a regular weekly post on my savings report. Give it a whirl, in no time you could have over 200 Hive and 200 HBD saved like me!

One things I have learnt on Hive is that we all need to work together to make Hive grow and succeed.

The bottom line is that Hive is fluffing complicated.

To quote my wife when I was listening to the CTT podcast, why all the technical stuff no wonder Hive is not that popular who the hell understands all that, we have not all been doing crypto for 6+ years.

There is nothing like an American for not beating around the bush. She has a great point though.

I believe in ELI5 or Explain Like I'm 5 and this is one reason I like hosting my Discord show Talk Time with Tengo, so that we can share all the projects that are on the go and help each other.

Hive should not be all about the different projects, front ends and communities competing against each other or belittling each other, but rather finding synergies and exploiting them for the greater good of Hive.

Look at what @weeklytops and the Author of the Week is achieving, that is different personalities working together for the greater good of Hive.

Eric suggested we show our faces on this Introduction, well I am not going to do that, it is on my main profile.

The Hive Game of 2023 in my opinion will be the one and only CraftInk...

It is from the creators of the @hiq magazine or in English @hiq.magazine that I proofread and sometimes write articles for. A great read it is!

I love to share things (probably in part from having a Masters in Knowledge Management) and one thing that the hottie Matilda shared to me was ...

She would love to interview Eric @anomadsoul on Talk Time with Tengo, she finds the Mexican way of speaking English sexy!

So what do you say @anomadsoul would you like to be interviewed one Tuesday at 7pm UTC with Matilda on The Interwebby as she calls it?

What about it @idksamad78699 @ifarmgirl-leo @coquicoin-leo should we get Matilda to interview @anomadsoul ... Would he be brave enough to meet Matilda!

Actually joking aside, I am looking forward to regularly writing a long form post on Leo Finance, and I think the Zealy Adoption Campaign will ignite that fire.

As some of you will know, I was on the .cash sites long before I was on Hive and so have a soft spot for BCH.

I also have been on Crew3 or Zealy as it is now for quite some time, and have been involved in many other campaigns on other chains.

You will find I don't follow the crowd but as usual all views are my own.

What I will publish will generally not be the rehashed Hive material, but rather write about things other chains and regulations that might affect Hive, perhaps with a UK leaning.

Being a crypto related post, I need to do some shilling ...

They are a FLUFFING steal at 1 Hive, and you get a share of 15 cryptocurrencies...

I have plenty farming and pool experience away from Hive and still do it, so am sure at some point I will be posting about those.

In the meantime go and get those booster packs ... because you know FOMO and they are EPIC!
