Hello Hello to all the music lovers of Hive

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it is #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

Everywhere I look on Hive I read and people sharing things about the Carnival wherever they are! Even in Discord too...

The formalities

If you wish to participate in Three Tune Tuesday then I defer you to the simple jist on how to do it from @ablaze ...

The jist is as follows

Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #ttt or #threetunetuesday tags that would be great. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.

Formalities over, let's get back to the Carnivals!

We do have Carnivals in the UK, but they tend to be in the summer. Up here we call them the Carnies.

It seems the plumber who fitted our boiler dicked around with water pressure and pipework and screwed the shower. When it tries to heat up the water it conks out, so am waiting for him to come back, so these tunes might be a bit loud!

Tune 1 Rush - Carnies

Bang that head, I said they would be loud!

Rush are a fluffing awesome band though!

Tune 2 Nelly Furtado - Carnival Games

I often think Nelly Furtado is totally underrated, perhaps I shall devote a future #ttt to her.

It also seems that I am now having a female artist occupy the Tune 2 position!

Tune 3 Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - The Carny

It's been a long long time since I listened to any Nick Cave, funnily enough the rain is hammering down as I write this while listening to him say that!

Sorry to hear about the boiler problems still. That would drive me mad. I often went to the carnival as a kid, it was great fun.

Yes so the plumber coming back tomorrow, meanwhile instead of making pancakes tonight it was helping to washing Mrs T's hair in the sink😮

I am not a music lover and nor l listen music. I listen music only in every Tuesday like I heard your. The second song seems cool one to me and I liked it most. But I don't know why I was unable to play the first music. Some error occurred..

Nice picks. I'm a massive rush fan - been listening to farewell to Kings alot recently - cracking album.
Quite liked the Nellie song, and never heard any of Nick Caves stuff before - so thats a first !

Rush are cool, and I have not listened to them for a while. One great thing about ttt is I bring up bands I like but don;t seem to play anymore!
Yeah Nellie has some good ones.
Ah Nick Cave takes some getting used, but it is good!

Hello@tengolotododo. Rush has always been among my favorite progressive rock bands, they were only three guys but they sounded like twelve, Nelly Furtado has a beautiful voice and her songs have always caught my attention, she hasn't been heard from since a few years ago, and Nick Cave has influenced Metallica, Kylie Minogue, PJ Harvey or LCD Soundsystem. Excellent selection. Best regards.

Yeah Nelly Furtado pretty much quit a few years ago right enough!

You nailed it about Rush, they sounded like a far bigger band the 3 people!

Nick Cave, you forget just how much of an influence on people he was!

Rush, long time favorite band that I can remember listing to decades ago. One of my favorite Rush songs is Working Man.
The song Carnival Games was an easy listen and of the three you highlighted this song by Nelly Furtado was my favorite.

Cool theme and the little twist you put to carnival man, and liking the loudness too, bring it on!! Would you believe I am not that familiar with Rush, the other two songs I know, but Rush I don't really know much of their stuff at all. Nick Cave, a fantastic way to finish out any trio of tunes anywhere and anytime, different gravy..
