Don't panic ~ it's back

Hello Hello Silver Bloggers and indeed all Hivians

You know at first glance my title might be construed to be about crypto and the markets...but that is a pure fluffing coincidence or co-inkydink as I like to call it.

No it was actually about this afternoon.

Mrs T has a week off work next week as it is her birthday.

We are lucky because in the three summer months we have our wedding anniversary in June then her birthday in July and then finishing off with my birthday in August. Lucky not! We make our own luck, I could not do anything about the August date, but I certainly made sure of the June and July one!

Ah yes her birthday week, so it means a week of her favourite food. Cinderfella being Cinderfella loves to cook and it meant chilli beans would be on the menu.

To do that I need coriander, loads of it. Everything else I had in the house already, so away to the shop I went.

I took the umbrella as yes this summer has been a wet bloody farce, wet windy and cold.

I opened the front door to be met by a cacophony of cheers!

I practised my royal wave back to the peasants and traipsed down the hill.

The local football club were playing a match, probably a friendly thought I and went away to Lidl's to get my much needed coriander.

Two things I use constantly - fresh garlic and coriander - in large quantities!

I got my groceries and walked back up the hill, thankfully the umbrella was still in my bag when I spotted a coach / bus, it had ICTFC decals on it.

ICTFC denoting Inverness Caledonia Thistle Football Club... They were in the top division a few years ago but dropped down to our devision...

Maybe this was more than just a pre-season friendly!

Detective Tengo was about to come out ...

Well I found out ...

So it was just a friendly but my detective work discovered that ....

Next Saturday they play in the League Cup...

That's it, the football break is over!

Don't panic ~ it's back

Fluff me it seems like two seconds ago it was the business end of last season!

Ah well nothing stands still.

Speaking of football, I see boring boring England have just got out of jail again and are in the semi finals of the Euros.

It's called the beautiful game, I wish someone would tell that to Gareth Southgate the English manager!

Now that my wee rant is over, I should get to making those beans.

Actually I have to wait a few more minutes.

Although I did have all the ingredients bar the coriander, the cooking bacon which I chop up as the meat was in the freezer and I only took it out this morning.

As I previously mentioned the weather has not been hot so it might not have defrosted yet.

Ah well, time to get all the other ingredients prepped and into the pot!
