Hitting 6k Hive Power on HivePUD for September
Hello Hello all Hivians!
Welcome to September!
What a fluffing awesome daytoday has been and it is not even finished yet!
Okay Okay, the first of the month means that is time to power up some liquid Hive.
Say what now Tengo?
HPUD or HIVEPUD yes it's Hive Power Up Day
If you have already powered up some Hive to your account then well done you!
I did a wee one, as I have not been writing so not had much kicking around...
Actually I power up 2 Hive every day. Yes it is not much but it is an extra 56 - 62 Hive depending which month it is!
What have I learnt about the Hive blockchain?
Con..fluffing..sistent is the way to be....
I unfortunately am prone to the CBA disease but thankfully I take advantage of the 20% APR for Hive Savings
Actually, today is a bloody awesome day ...
Firstly
Yes I was so close to a milestone ...
and later on after I had powered up ...
I know I know it's peanuts to many Hivians, but it is a big deal to me.
I hit 6k in HP just before my second anniversary on Sunday (by the way I take all sorts of cryptocurrency as tips, BTC ETH 🤣 yeah yeah I am jesting! or even some satoshs okay am done now! )
Being HPUD it is great to get our badge from @hivebuzz as detailed in Hive Power Up Day - September 1st 2023 and of course HPUD would not be HivePUD without mentioning our very own HivePUD Queen @traciyork and her monthly post It's here! Hive Power Up Day for September 1st, 2023
I celebrate my 2 years on Hive, I have only known Hive so ignore all the drama that gets brought up mentioning the old chain.
I do however appreciate all that the OGers have done to bring us Hive and look up to Hivians like Traci and @forykw who encourage us to Power Up and share around ways to win HP delegations!
I mention Fory as he is one such person that has contests, his latest one being PowerUp 💪 September - ATeXoras 5 Year Plan Release!. He is all round block, a big gamer has his pub and his token, and after investigating this morning I had 1 ATX in my wallet so I went to the pool and added!
So I thought being in an ATX mode I would get this NFT!
Then I twigged I did not have the Power Up NFT, I could have sworn I got it months ago, but the blockchain never lies!
So there we go I felt good, powering up and getting a couple of NFTs from a respected Hivian.
I told you today was good...
Remember the pink orchid at the front of the post, that is our bedroom windowsill, and yes the glazier finally came and replaced the shot bullet hole window!
Life is good I told you!
But wait it did not stop there!
Today we had our Treasure Hunt that is arranged by @dreemsteem for the dreemers of @dreemport ...
She really is a wonderful lady, and boy did we have fun when she came visiting me with @samsmith1971 and @penderis ...
Oh yes it was this many O's ...

I won with my shovel a couple of mega mega prizes ...

Seeing you powering up is cool, seriously! because it motivates me to keep moving. Whoaaaaaa 6k is huge, yes might not be huge to you or any other hivian holding more.
I started power up too, with just 30 hives. But I'm in for a long time. I have set my goal to hit 5k before my 1 year anniversary. Hope I'm not over ambitious, though I will be setting some of my posts to 100% so I guess it will help to meet my goal.
