Funnily the opening line of Milk and Alcohol took me back to my wanderings in New York City long ago ....

One night though I was three sheets to the wind and went off wandering on my own and eventually walked into Harlem in New York, oh boy that was an experience. But being a white Scottish boy I was getting drinks bought left right and centre!
I do love being positive trying to see a good side in something and keep some people upbeat.
In short I love to spread some Happy Talk.

"Happy Talk" is a show tune from the 1949 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific.
This was the 1982 version by Captain Sensible who was a guitarist with punk band The Damned. How he came up with this I have no idea!

Now when I saw Dr. Feelgood I was expecting some Motley Crue, you sure fooled me on that one. That was a great song, I really am not familiar with them, I'll have to check them out some more!

I will say, the first is my most favorite. Damn! That man’s voice doesn’t collab with his dress sense. He sounds like a Gen Z rapper honestly and it’s so gold!
