Happy Holidays!

I am the Ghost of Christmas Presents. 🎵'Tis the season to be jolly, bwaa ha ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha. Watch your balls, they might meet Holly, bwaa ha ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha. Don we now, some Ugly Sweaters, bwaa ha ha, ha, ha, ha ha ha ha. Something about Santa and letters, bwaa ha ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha.🎶

You know we couldn't go a holiday without doing some kind of fun community something, right? This is called 'In The Spirit', and it is a photography contest. Not so much on the quality of the photos, but rather, the fun and originality in them.

For this contest, we want photos of your decorations! How easy is that? These can be Christmas decorations or your tree, Kwanza, your menorah, your light display, whatever and what not you may pull out of the mouse turd covered dusty boxes and storage containers each year that you love so much. The rules are super easy and simple. Here's what you need to do to qualify as an entrant this year:

  1. Create a post highlighting your decorations.
  2. Tag the post with #thealliance and #inthespirit.
  3. Drop a link to it in the comments below so we can see it!

Perks For Entering

  1. All that follow the instructions above will be sent at least 2 HBI.
  2. Your post will be voted on by the fam!
  3. The favorites (or maybe all?) will be compiled in a post to let everyone see what we see.
  4. All 'winners' (3 maximum) will be assigned as 10% beneficiaries in the winner's post next week.
  5. A grand prize may or may not be given to anyone or no one. 😜

Well, that's it. What are waiting you for? Another song? I only eat breakfast once a day so sorry, can't be done. It's impossible. Like trying to put feathers back on a cooked goose. It's just not gonna happen folks. Bwaa ha ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha. Looking forward to seeing your pictures though!

Logged off, went to Discord, found the link, logged back on to read it and laughed out loud at almost midnight alone in... well... story to follow if I make it out alive.

Glad I did even though I've lost the Xmas decorations, the colander for the pasta pot, the medkit and the hoola hoops on the travels.

Okay look... The Xmas decorations went somewhere some time ago and it sucks but it is what it is. There are no Xmas decorations within plain site or cupboard space for miles.

I will, however, dig something up. But if I have to go to a mall to do it, I may dig something up in the garden instead. Not going to a mall again. Is that clear?

Sorry, we don't really have any Xmas decorations here. But I will be watching the alliance posts to see what other people post!

The gif you use reminds me that I was coincidentally reading about that film the other day. I found out that Carol Kane had a miserable time doing it. She didn't like being forced to abuse Bill Murphy; at one point she actually really injured him enough that production had to be paused while he healed and this made her feel so bad she almost had a breakdown.

Learning that makes me feel bad for her. But it's still one of my favorite movies.

It was Murray's idea to get so physical. He encouraged her to be as realistic as possible and assured her that she couldn't actually hurt him. I don't know what he told her after she did actually hurt him. haha
