πŸŽ„ Silver Stackers Twelve Days of Christmas- Day 9πŸŽ„

Last night we finally saw the big push the whole entire crypto loving world had been waiting to see. Bitcoin finally pierced the huge psychological barrier of $100,000! Of course it happened not long after I had gone offline for the evening so I missed the moment... Nonetheless, I'm very excited to see prices at all time highs and it should be very interesting to see just where we find solid support and resistance. It's turning out to be a remarkable week!

Of course profit taking has pulled it back down below $100,000 again. But I expect it will come back up soon!

I'm adding this quick note in right before I publish this, there was a pretty bad earthquake off of northern California and I hope all you guys up north are doing okay and safe. I didn't feel anything down here in Orange County. Earthquakes are very unnerving and even scary at times. My thoughts are with everyone up north!

I am a member of the Silver Gold Stackers community here on Hive, and it's a great one with a lot of nice people. This year @silverd510 started a Twelve Day of Christmas challenge to share twelve items that you would like to receive for Christmas from you secret Santa. Or under the tree I suppose, I add that in myself because it wasn't stated in the challenge parameters! Today I am continuing my list to day nine with a really nice piece that I think just about any Star Wars fan would be proud to own. I think even George Lucas himself might like one!

The wish of the day is the Death Star spherical coin produced for the island paradise of Niue in the South Pacific. I have shared this before as a cool investment in a Saturday Savers post, but this is definitely high on my wish list for Christmas. Just have look at this beautiful silver coin that is actually a sphere:

About the coin:

Pictures and information from Apmex.com

That thing is just awesome! It weighs in at 9.65 Troy ounces (300 grams) of solid silver. That's pretty close to being a ten ounce silver bar in form of a sphere! Only 1,000 of these were minted and has sold out pretty much everywhere. At the moment I haven't found any of these for sale anywhere, but a smaller 100 gram version was produced as well and they are selling for over $500 on eBay. This is one item that won't come cheap, but is very likely to appreciate in value. That is, of course, unless Disney completely destroys the franchise...

Death Star

For any Star Wars fan I don't even need to discuss this, but I know there are many people out there who aren't fans and even a few who have never even seen one of the movies. Hard to believe, but it's true! In the first Star Wars film "A New Hope" that was released in 1977 the Death Star was part of the plot for the entire movie. The Empire had built a huge space station with a weapon capable of destroying entire planets, and it was aptly named the Death Star.

The rebellion forces are fighting to rid the galaxy of the empire. In order to do this one of their big obstacles is to destroy this planet killer. They manage to steal the plans used to built the death star and for much of the movie they are trying to deliver them to the main rebel fleet. With the plans in hand they manage to find a vulnerability that will eventually allow them to destroy the space station.

If you haven't seen this movie it's worth watching at least once, so I won't go into more plot details.

That will wrap up my day nine on my Christmas Wish List. It's a very expensive item, but very, very cool. If you have any comments or questions please feel free to add them below. Thank you everyone for all of your support, it really is greatly appreciated even more than you know. To all my fellow Californians in the north part of the state, be safe, earthquakes really suck!

I bet you guys were too far away to feel it which is good! That area is the south end of the Cascadia sublimation zone that is overdue to slip off of Oregon or Washington. Hopefully this doesn't let loose a bigger quake farther north!

Hopefully not my friend, but we are all sitting on the Ring of fire!😳
Not exactly sure where @runridefly or @silversaver888 are located in California, hope they both were safe as well!!!

First I just want to say, I hope everyone is well, in Northern California.

I can only say that your gift selection is great, and I'm sure many like me would like a gift like that too.

And may the force be with you

Only barely 10 ounces of silver. Gee the photo makes this Death Star bigger than it really is.

Did the earthquake only happen in California, or just part of it and affect some people? That's saddening because life's and properties are no joke, I'm glad you weren't affected too.

As for BTC, we'd probably be back over 100k and hitting and breaking more ATH

That is true come to think of it. When I lived down there it was a quiet period buy ever since the big earthquake a few years back they have become more frequent. I heard the art museum in Ponce was shut down for extended repairs, must have been pretty bad earthquake!

No more Yauco for you guys, just Roswell!

Off the coast of northern California, so people in north California and southern Oregon may have felt it. There was a tsunami alert issued but no waves arrived fortunately. Earthquakes are just part of life in California, you get warm weather and sunshine, but there's always a downside no matter where you go I've always found! Hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, floods, tsunamis, volcanos.... I guess just pick your poison!

BTC at $98,700 at the moment, so support seems to be right around $100K
