My Hive Goals for the Year of 2025

Four day into the new year already... I guess it's high time I address my goals for the next year here on the blockchain. Last year I joined the Saturday Savers community to help me delineate my goals. Prior to this I had somewhat nebulous goals, as a result it was taking longer than it should have to reach the majority of them. By simply writing them out and checking them weekly really has helped me to achieve several of my goals last year. As a matter of fact I only missed one goal and that was due to price increases on the token.

Today I'm setting some new goals that should all be somewhat easily attained. In reality they will be benchmarks pushing me to higher goals later in the year. First up, let's look at my Hive Recap for last year, it has some information that I really haven't been tracking that I really should have been paying closer attention to.

Throughout last year I was usually converting my HBD into Hive and using it to fund second layer token purchases. It also helped me fund part of my contribution toward the creation of the DUO token which wasn't inexpensive. This year I need to start using more of that Hive to make some larger power ups rather than the minimum each power up day. I did have an excellent number in my comments and in my posts created. There is always room for improvement, and I will want to start tracking those categories more closely.

Now I want to jump into categories and goals that I want to set.

Hive Power

This morning my Hive Power is 6,332. The most obvious and important goal to me is to reach 10,000 HP this year and that will be my first set goal. It's likely just a benchmark on my way 12,000 which I also think is attainable. But I have to start somewhere! Hopefully I will surpass both of those levels this year with relative ease.

PIMP

This past year I failed to reach my goal of 50K staked PIMP. As a result I'm rolling this secondary goal into this year, I do want to finally reach this metric. As of this morning I have 33.5K PIMP, so only 16.5K more to go. I should be able to do this with some smart buys when the prices aren't too high. This year I will not fail on this goal!

Leo

Last year I stacked up more than 2,000 LEO tokens as it provided me with four stake based curations per month. Not a bad perk for staking LEO. This year I'm going to try to have 5,000 staked LEO by the end of the year, which should give me two more stake based curation per month. I think this should be attainable goal especially with low prices on LEO at the moment.

EDSI

I have held EDS tokens for quite some time now and have always been happy with the token. Now it has been converted to EDSI which works exactly the same. It provides curations once you hold at least 100 of them and is a very stable token price wise. I hold just over 100 right now and want to double that to 200 by year's end, I'll just have to make some small weekly or monthly purchases to make it happen.

HSBI

Unlike last year, I'm not setting any goals on stacking more HSBI. I will continue to build up my numbers but I don't have a new set goal in this category. It's a good program that offers you curations on your posts once you accumulate enough of them and I currently have 3,396 units. I offer a weekly giveaway of ten HSBI units and will include the link below. I also am including a post I put together about a year back with some information on the program for those who are unfamiliar with it. I'm very happy with the curations I receive on my posts though, but it took over a year to get to where I am now! I started off with a grand total of eleven last year.

DUO

It's time again for me to shill my favorite token of them all, the DUO token which I helped create. About six months ago along with @bitcoinman and @bulliontools we created the DUO token to help fill voids in the Hive community. The purpose of the token is to accumulate enough Hive Power to be able to use a portion to support new onboards and help retain them through encouragement and with curations. We currently have more than 35,884 HP in the curation account, and are already onboarding and actively searching for new Hive members that want to grow their accounts here in the community.

Our new guest author program is allowing Hive members to earn by posting original content on the duo-curator account. Please see our latest duo-curator posts for rules and information on how to participate. You can receive half of the earnings from the post plus five DUO tokens and if you want we can even pay you out in DUO tokens to build your personal stash.

We also have a new number guessing game in our update posts where you can win some free DUO. Don't forget to check out our posts and guest posts for a chance to win some! Free DUO is pretty sweet!

DUO token holders receive by far the greatest benefits. Once you have 200 staked tokens you can receive a daily curation on your quality posts and receive daily liquid Hive dividends. Once you stake more than 500 DUO you also can use the DUO tip call to tip someone with some DUO, and in return you get the same amount of DUO in your account. It pays to tip others with DUO!

I currently have over 1,300 of these and will be continuing to purchase them. Once this tranche of tokens sells out the price will jump from one Hive to 1.5 Hive each. My advice is to buy in early while they are less expensive! Plus you will make money as soon as this batch sells out due to the price increase! All Hive from token purchases is locked into Hive Power and will never be powered down.

Other Tokens

I will continue to hold onto my staked DBOND and DAB tokens. It's a nice program that builds up over time earning you more money with essentially no effort. Staked DBOND tokens pay out DAB tokens, which you can stake to get paid out more DBOND tokens. Alternatively you can leave DAB unstaked to receive liquid Hive instead. I'm very happy with these!

SIM token I am continuing to hold over one million and receive daily liquid Hive for the investment. However, the price of the token has been going down over the last few months. I am still considering doubling my stake to just over two million, but waiting to see how the price does before investing more money into it.

POB token I currently stake all I earn and delegate it to pob.voter. In return they pay our some liquid Hive weekly which is always a welcome perk. I only have about 1,200 of them now, I might make a buy to add to my stake to earn more rewards. It's also a great program to look into if you want to earn liquid Hive every week.

BBH and BBHO are also a great programs. BBH is a tipping token which allows daily tips depending on how many you hold, I have over 50K now giving me 50 daily tips which I never manage to exhaust. BBHO is a nice token also created by Bradley Arrow that pays out weekly payouts of various tokens, even DUO if you hold over 2,000 staked (which I do!)

CAV is a nice token as well that pays liquid Hive to it's holders and has an aim to help veterans of the armed forces of all nations here on Hive. As a veteran myself I think it's a great token. I keep intending to purchase more of these, by adding it here I'll have a weekly reminder to do so! I currently only hold seven, lots of room for improvement here...

Silver

Silver recovered nicely from a drop earlier in the week. I personally think it's a great investment and the most affordable of the precious metals. Gold is also a smart investment, but much more expensive to purchase. I think in a few months time we may see prices start to surge again as it's not only used in coins and jewelry, but in electronics and other industries as well.

Every week I try to find some fun ways to invest in silver, it doesn't have to come only in coins or bars although they are very cool in my eyes! This one I have to say thank you to @summertooth for bringing it to my attention. It's a 50th anniversary silver coin of the Rubik's Cube! It's made by the island nation of Tuvalu and produced in the Perth Mint in Australia. It even comes in a Rubik's Cube box!

It contains two ounces of pure silver and retails at $289.99. Once this one sells out it's going to become an expensive item. I haven't bought one myself yet, but I may do soon with the plan to flip it in two or three years. It will likely double in price if not even more. That's my bet anyway! And it is cool if you want to keep it long term!

Good evening, I see that your goal of reaching 12k hp is very close and I'm sure you'll reach it before the end of the year. I see the pimp goal as a bit more difficult since very few people use this tag unless you buy it. I see the leo goal as the same since very few people use this tag and also add the difficulty that to win something by throwing away some pst you have to have a lot of leo stake.
My advice that I give you is to raise your stagnant HBD since not even the bank gives an interest of 15% per year.. But with patience and tenacity you will achieve everything. :-)))

I think 12K is doable, but I've got to hit 10K first. Once I pass that benchmark I'll put the target a little bit higher. It worded this year! I may do more buy Hive cheap and sell on a pump to produce some more HBD and Hive. PIMP has been slowly increasing price over the last year, and likely will continue as it is backed by physical silver. Leo I do hope improves price wise, if not getting five thousand won't be hard if it's really cheap. The stake based curations does make it worthwhile though. Plus I get a fair amount airdropped to me every day, so I may not ever have to buy any! lol

We shall see how long the 15% remains in place, I'm seeing more pressure on witnesses to cut it to 10%. But that beats any bank even at that level!

Hello friend, happy new year, I hope that all those projections that you are saying are fulfilled to the fullest, I say you are a good example for me and probably for others who follow you, somehow in what you say there are many tips that can be applied.

The coin is very cool, I tell you when I was a kid, I always wanted to have a Rubik's cube, you reminded me of that story of my life where you want to have something but because of adverse situations you don't have it.

It's hard to keep the creative juices flowing at times for me too! I've been posting close to daily which is helping me along, I'll see if I can keep it up this year as well. I hope they don't keep you too busy over at the air field!

DUO I'm proud of because I helped found it and it's doing really well. The dividends get better every quarter! EDSI has been stable for years and like DUO offers curations on your posts once daily which is a big bonus!

Having goals and being able to stick to them, or at least keep working towards them, is so rewarding.

The hive power is always a big one and then curating or delegating so you get extra from it, while knowing you have that hive staked.

EDS or EDSI as it now is, was a solid project and still is so long as you are holding longer term, like most.

Also some good choices for the other tokens

I wish I could set goals but for now.. I am going to start doing more engagement on posts when possible, try grow my HBD savings up again and then go from there later!

You seem to be moving towards 7k and then by the year end 8K possibly. I reached 200+ HSBI. Have to stack more or have to increase giveaway HSBI unit value. I am focusing mostly on HP, 6K is the target 1750 left :)

Goodluck to you and I hope you finally get to that 10k by the end of the year. Personally I think you can do 12 or 15k, as long as you keep grinding and making the moves.
