Ten HSBI and Two DUO Tokens Giveaway, Week 18

I love Sunday mornings. They are so relaxing! I just had my second cup of coffee and now it's time to put together this week's HSBI giveaway. But first last week the entry question asked for your favorite cheese. I got all sort of different answers, but two in particular seem to have been the favorites. Cheddar and blue cheese got the most nods.

I have always loved good cheddar cheese, my favorite is the extra aged so it has that sharp flavor and almost crystalline texture, yummy!

Blue cheese was second in the poll, but it's my favorite. It has that nice strong flavor, nothing quite like it in the world! What do you think?

On to today's contest. The question of the day will be: Are you a dog person or a cat person, and why?

The Giveaway

I will be giving out two prizes of five (5) HSBI. Third prize will be 2 DUO tokens, the token I recently launched with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman . It offers those who stake sufficient tokens curation on quality posts, dividends, and a tipping bot. At the end of the post there is a link to the white paper and where to purchase the tokens. There will also be one legendary Splinterlands card as a fourth prize. If you don't play Splinterlands just let me know and I'll send you an HSBI instead. To participate you need a reputation level of at least 25 and bots cannot win. And please one entry per person to make it fair to everyone.

How to Enter

Every week this will change. I'm looking for engagement rather than just saying "I am in". There is no need to upvote or re-blog, although if you choose to do so I would appreciate it. This week's question is an easy one: Are you a dog person or a cat person, and why? How's that for easy?

Choosing the Winners

All valid entries will be placed on the Wheel of Names and I will spin it four times. The first prize will be 5 HSBI units. The second prize will be another 5 HSBI units. And the third prize will be two DUO tokens. Fourth prize is a legendary Splinterlands card or one HSBI unit! And since I am spinning the same wheel four times in a row it is theoretically possible for the same person to win all four prizes! Although I have yet to see it happen, maybe this week?

I choose HSBI. I am a GF player, so regular foil Oshannus won't bring me any good.

Anyway, I am a cat Person. For me, a holiday is more than enough by having lots of sleep and playing video games. No need to wonder or traveling abroad.

Playing GF cards only can get expensive, although right now most everything in Splinterlands is on sale presently. Cats are great pets, I had quite a few growing up, the dog and cat would always play together!

I prefer dogs, they're more available than cats for cuddling, and when you walk them you meet lots of people who come to chat with you whereas they would have ignored you if you were alone.

Congrats to the winners! DUO tokens are great and I'm doing what I can to grow my investment.

Are you a dog person or a cat person, and why?

My first response would be "neither", since I have never owned a cat or a dog. I grew up with a family cat, and I was fond of the cat, but I wouldn't say I was a "cat person". As an older man, I still find cats attractive and kittens are very cute.

I was terrified of dogs as a child, but as I've matured, I have much more respect for dogs. They are loyal and trainable. I recognize some human traits in dogs that make them appealing. But I couldn't say I was a "dog person" either.

Hmmmm, so between the two which types of person am I more of? A dog person or cat person? Neither! I'm a family person. !LOLZ

Always thought I was a cat person till I had cats.... Now I have a dog he s been with me for 17 year's....

The question is will I have another one after this one because the expiration date on this one was like two years ago 😁

Dogs are a lot of fun and such loving creatures. I don't have one anymore mainly because it's hard to travel with a pet. When I have the chance I enjoy traveling so no dogs in the immediate future for me!

This is a photo of our two girls that have long since passed Alouka and Cochiti !😍
Half dalmatian half blue heeler they were high energy dogs that loved the family and we still miss them!
Cot and Cyle…. Feed us let us sleep, and we will snuggle all night with our humans😻

I ma more towards dog, since they are more likely to be easier to handle, and could be a good guard at home. although both can make a mess sometimes. : )

Blue cheese is my favorite and I always have it at home! Many recipes are made with it, and I think tomorrow I'll make a blue cheese risotto! yum

I used to be more a cat person than a dog person. Although I am allergic to both...
Since my parents in law bought a hypoallergenic dog, I am quite fine with dogs.
Recently we got our own dog, a hypoallergenic one as wel and yes, I am completely sold.

As for my answer to the current question: am still a cat person!

Dogs can be cute too but are quite needy and such. Awww, like they aren't as "emotionally tough" as cats imho. Still I like dogs enough despite being a cat person. 😆

Getting back into HIVE after a hiatus, what better way to get started than trying to get some HSBI?

As for the question; I have to say a cat person. I love both, but if I have to pick one I'm choosing a cat. They're quieter (sometimes) and can be more independent, and while they can be affectionate they also need space sometimes, a lot like me.

Not to mention if you play your cards right, you'll never have to deal with mice again!

Glad to hear you are back! HSBI is a great way to get started again!

I've had both cats and dogs throughout my life, growing up we had a cat and dog that were best friends and loved playing together. Cats are much more independent, you can go on vacation and have a friend check on them once a day and they're fine. Dogs are much more pack animals and like constant company!
