Three Tune Tuesday jumping Into The Fire

Every Tuesday that comes around I feel fortunate because I've been sharing Three Tune Tuesday's for so long now that I don't really have to think of a subject to talk about. Then again I have to figure out what kind of music I want to share and find the right source material, so in the end it all even out I suppose. I've been participating in the event for more than a year now and it really is a lot of fun. As always I want to thank @ablaze for starting and continuing to support #threetunetuesday .

Today's lineup is one I've been thinking about putting together for some time. The first pick of the day was one that I keep thinking about every time I see @mypathtofire 's username, so you can blame him if you don't like it! LOL! I'm going with some older material today because the first song is from the early 1980's so I stuck with the same time frame for the other's as well. Let's hop on into the music!

Dokken

Dokken is a heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1978. As with many bands at the time they underwent many lineup changes and finally found commercial success with their album "Tooth And Nail" in 1984. It had multiple hits songs including this one: "Into The Fire"

The Scorpions

societyofrock.com

The Scorpions are a band formed in Hanover, Germany in 1965. However, they weren't signed to make an album until 1972. They had some moderate success in the mid seventies but their album "Lovedrive" from 1979 really put them on the hard rock map. Then in 1982 they released "Blackout" with the hit "No One Like You" putting them on the road to superstardom. Here's "No One Like You":

Ozzy Osbourne

cheatsheet.com

This man almost needs no introduction after all of his years with reality TV shows such as "The Osbournes" and subsequent shows. But he first came to fame as the lead singer of Black Sabbath in the late 1960's and early 1970's. In 1979 he was kicked out of the band and pursued a solo career before eventually reuniting with the band. In 1980 he released the album "Blizzard of Ozz" which was a huge success in part to this song: "Crazy Train"

I am a member of the silver gold stackers here on Hive, so when I saw this while looking for source material today I had to add it in. I guess a true Ozzy fan had this sterling silver ring made up. I thought it was pretty creative, although I have no idea where you can find one! It was on Etsy but had long since sold!

That will wrap up this week's Three Tune Tuesday. I hope you enjoyed some or all of the songs I picked out. If you don't already participate with us consider putting together your own post for the weekly event, one random picked winner will receive 12 HSBI units, not too shabby! Just make sure to do a shoutout to @ablaze and include the tags TTT or Three Tune Tuesday. If you have any questions please feel free to leave them below. And once again I want to thank you all for all of your support, it really is greatly appreciated! Have a great day!

Great selection, I do love The Scorpions. I have been listening to some classic 70s glam rock today! lol

I can still hear my 8 track of Ozzy and Black Sabbath clicking as it changed tracks in the middle of a song…..☺️
Bootleg Black Sabbath 8 tracks were everywhere, even the corner quick market!😇

I bet they hated all the bootleg stuff, it meant they were making less money!

Wow I didn't realize the Scorpions were formed in '65. I would have guessed the mid 70's. That is a cool looking Ozzy ring.

The Scorpions have been around a long, long time! That ring would be fun to own, but none up for sale anywhere these days!

It's a little more mellow than what you usually pick, but through the fire from the top gun soundtrack would have been good too.

That would have fit nicely, I didn't even think about that one! lol

I have never know that Scorpions can be that old, I thought they are the band from the 80's or something, but they are way older than that .

Three old school bands. Dokken sucked in concert, Don Dokken had a very weak voice. Scorpions and Ozzie are major classics.

I never saw Dokken live, from what I hear I didn't miss much!

Now those are some blasts from my past right there. I wasn't a big Dokken listener, but Scorpiosn and Ozzy for sure. Especially the Oz. I can defintely relate to Crazy Train sometimes.

Dokken I really only know the stuff that was popular, I don't think I ever owned any of their stuff. Blizzard of Ozz was a lot of fun, and I think we can all relate to Crazy Train from time to time!
