Having previously mentioned Spargo and The Art Company, it would be appropriate to conclude the Dutch pop trilogy of the 80s with the first versatile and useful European group, Stars on 45 (Starsound for the Anglo-Saxon market). The cap, connected by a repeated chorus and other electronic claps, served as a brand identity. With this formula they paid tribute to The Beatles, Abba, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder and international hits from previous years.

The results of the 1981 Cycling Tour, held along the longest stretch of the peninsula with 3,446 kilometers that linked Santander and Madrid between April 21 and May 10, gave us this experience in Spain. Stars on 45 is a song-by-song compilation of The Beatles' greatest hits, courtesy of links from producer Jaap Eggermont. The result was a complete success. This was without a doubt the theme of the year for our country. The same thing happened in the rest of Europe and much of the world, including the demanding American market, where this innovative musical concept topped the most powerful music magazine, Billboard, in June of that year. She topped the charts with the Kim Karnes song "Bette Davis Eyes." The response to 45 across the Atlantic was such that the band's 1983 show at Huntington's Hartford Theater in Hollywood was released on MCA Home Video.

The singers of STARS ON 45 are all from Holland. Bass Muis imitated John Lennon, Hans Vermeulen imitated Paul McCartney and Okie Husdens imitated George Harrison. Albert West, Arnie Treffers, Jody Pijper, Peter Vermage and Tony Sherman also contributed to the project.

They were popularized by the legendary British quartet Mix, who released their first two singles and the A-side of their debut album Stars on Long Play.
