I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #524 - Reflections on Desires, Intentions, and Goals for 2024 - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Tuesday, January 2, 2024

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

It's already a few days into 2024 and I find myself reflecting on my experiences over the past year, and also on what I actually desire and intend to create and bring into my life in this new year. As I've mentioned in my posts, 2023 had both notable accomplishments, both here on Hive, and in my life, as well as some very painful experiences which broke my heart more than once.

This broken heart of mine definitely needs some attention, so healing myself is at the top of my list of priorities and goals going into 2024. This is a big one, and is without doubt the bar none most important thing that I could do this year.

Healing means reconnection and returning to wholeness, and that leads me into my second goal for this year, to bring myself and and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness. In line with this is are regular integral practices, which engage and exercise all aspects, domains, and parts of myself, as a practice over time.

The next one on my list is to put in the time and work necessary to get my plant nursery back to a place where it looks good. It's pretty much of a disaster to the moment, and that needs to be rectified. I want to feel proud when people see it.

Getting back to preparing my amazing batches of medicinal teas, made from the plants grown and collected on the land, is another very important thing for me to do this year. It's been calling to me, but I just didn't have, or make, the time most of the past year. That needs to change, as these teas are magical, and are extremely beneficial, both for myself and others.

One of my goals does not require much if any change at all, which is continuing my work with Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, Bastyon, and other sovereignty-driven technology. I have wanted, however, to begin learning significant coding/programming languages, to be able to contribute to these projects more deeply and fully. So I think that's the goal in this domain, to decide on which languages to start learning, and then actually dive into the process of doing it.

The last goal that comes to mind is to begin giving my healing sessions with women regularly again. This has always gone through periods of more and less activity, and as of late, especially with my broken heart, and me staying mostly to myself, it's been basically absent. The work I do is valuable, and it can indeed help many people, so getting sessions flowing again needs to be a top priority. This is also how I've usually made the majority of my fiat money, so it has extra importance.

2024 Life Goals

1.) Heal my heart. 

2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness, and begin regular integral practices. 

3.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again. 

4.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land. 

5.) Continue my work with Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, Bastyon, and other sovereignty-driven technologies, as well as learn relevant coding/programming languages. 

6.) Get regular healing sessions with women flowing again. 

There they are. Those are the important goals in my life that I intend to give focus this coming year. I pray that I am successful!

I left the Flow House yesterday, Tuesday, a little after 2PM, after finishing up my essential Hive tasks. I put my focus first on taking photos for this post, before jumping into land work. Once that was done, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of cow-milking food, and then I went to Ano's nursery to do some paid work, potting up a bamboo division, and a good round of weeding.

Once work was done for the day, I took a shower, strained out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made myself food, then I returned to the Flow House to dive into my evening round of Hive tasks, and catching up on notifications. Part way through the process, around 10PM, I had an unexpected visitor. Tiger Heart, a woman who arrived at GaiaYoga this week, and is staying here now, appeared out of the darkness, at the top of the lava steps to the Flow House. She was trying to find Sperry in the Beduoin, but she doesn't yet know the property well, so she got lost. She was pretty amazed by the lava and the Flow House, and after an enjoyable conversation, I walked her to where she had intended to go, shared a lovely hug with her, then I headed back to the Flow House to continue with catching up on my Hive notifications, which took me longer than usual, until just before 12AM, to complete. I did a quick round of token management, then I went to bed post haste. Unfortunately I did not sleep well at all, waking up around 7:30AM, doing another round of token management, and then getting out of bed around 8AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.

It's now just past 1PM, so it's a very good time to wrap up this post, so that I may jump into my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House in the later afternoon to take photos for tomorrow's iteration of this post, and then more land work.
