I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #565 - HiveBuzz, Engage, and Broken Bots - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Tuesday, February 13, 2024

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Some of you might have noticed that there are quite a few very significant Hive websites, like HiveBuzz and Engage, as well as the HiveBuzz notification service, which have been down or non-functional for the past several days. All of those, of course, were created, and are maintained, by @arcange. So far I haven't heard anything about what's going on, but whatever it is, it does seem rather big, because HiveBuzz's last notification comment on someone's post was 5 days ago. I've also noticed that multiple dividend-paying bots, such as the ones that distribute DVS, LGN, and DBOND, have also been broken for several days as well.

Given that I use Engage for my comment-moderation duties for @aliveandthriving, this has been a bit inconvenient. Thankfully I'm a resourceful bugger, usually with multiple ways to do things, so I make it work by copying the comment template, logging into Ecency with the @aliveandthriving account, and then replying to comments, and upvoting, on the last 3-4 daily posts. This works OK so far, but it's not ideal because there are likely some comments or replies getting missed from older posts. I work with what I've got, and I do my best, though.

Being the tech geek that I am, I really want to know exactly why these and similar issues are happening. I know that there have been some notable Hive-Engine issues, which have wrecked havoc with lots of important bots. Errors on BeeSwap transactions are also very common and numerous now, and they have been for a fair while now, so there are problems which have not been addressed yet. Maybe they are problematic enough that they can't be easily resolved. Hive is badass, and I love and believe in it, of course, but there are a few rather large rough edges showing, which does not help the onboarding process at all. I know that HiveBuzz's posts have been getting consistently downvoted to zero by a contingent of people, so that might be a part of this.

No matter what's happening on Hive, I will always do my absolute best to adapt and flow with what I encounter each day. Some days this can be quite challenging to say the least. I've said innumerable times that I'm all in for the long haul on Hive, so regardless of what's working, what's broken, or what's partially functioning, I'll keep showing up every single day to keep building, growing, saving, engaging, and helping, the best I'm able. Has anybody heard about what's going on with the various things that I mentioned here?

Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House just before 3PM, after finishing my essential Hive tasks. Since I had taken the photos for this post in the morning, I could focus on land work sooner. I strained out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend first, as I definitely far prefer getting it done earlier in the day. After finishing with kefir, I checked in with Sperry to see how he was doing, and to ask him if he wanted another batch of the elixir that I had made him earlier. He answered in the affirmative, so I began the process of preparing another round. Once I had that done, I went to continue working in my nursery, weeding, cleaning, and organizing. There's stil so much to do, but it's getting a little better after each round of work there.

After finishing work, I took a shower, grabbed my leftover superfood fire coffee and food from the Landing fridge, then I made my way back to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on my notifications. I was able to get everything done just before 9PM, which was great. After a round of token management, and scanning my X feed for a while, I went to bed just after 11:30PM. I slept reasonably OK, though it could have been better. It's so weird that some nights I just can't sleep well at all. I woke up at 6:30AM, did a round of token management, then I got out of bed just after 7AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.

It's now almost 1PM, so a very good time to end this post, so that I can get to my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House in the later afternoon to go do land work. Like yesterday, I already took the photos for tomorrow's expression of this post this morning, so that's done. I deeply appreciate you all so very much! Until tomorrow! 2024 Life Goals

1.) Heal my broken heart. 

2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness, and do regular integral practices. 

3.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again. 

4.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again. 

5.) Continue my work with Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, Bastyon, and other sovereignty-driven technologies, as well as learn relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute. 

6.) Get regular healing sessions with women flowing again.
