I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #614 - More Discerning about Layer-2 Projects - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Tuesday, April 2, 2024

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

As of today the DHEDGE project and its services have been down since March 4th, so a month tomorrow. I've expressed my sadness at the present state of this project in a few recent posts, and that, although I didn't want to act hastily, that I would likely be divesting myself of DHEDGE assets, and recalling my layer 1 and layer 2 delegations, very soon. This experience has taught me a valuable Hive lesson, which is to have greater discernment around layer-2 projects in which I involve myself, which because of their nature, are more unstable, unpredictable, and as such, in terms of investing, they are more unreliable and undependable than layer-1 investments. Today I came up with some new criteria that I'll use to determine if a project warrants my focus.

New Criteria for Layer-2 Investments

1.) Solid Communication

2.) Redundancy

3.) Addressing Issues Quickly

4.) Passion and Love for Hive and its Community

These are the some super simple and important ones that came to my mind as I was writing this, so if you're aware of other important points to take into account, please let me know. Moving forward I will be using these criteria to assess all investments in layer 2. Since layer 1 is inherently more stable and reliable, that is where the main focus of my investing will be. I will still maintain a solid base in layer 2, just with more care in how I choose which projects to support.

So far the most constantly reliable projects have been BRO/LGN, DBOND/DABS, BBH, BXT, the assets put out by @spinvest/the Saturday Savers crew, such as EDSMM, EDSM, and EDS. I know that there are likely others like this that I haven't discovered yet, so if you know of any, I'm happy to learn about them.

Those above criteria for investing in layer 2 could also be used as guidelines for those who want to start a layer-2 project, to help them create a solid foundation upon which to build. That's part of my reason for sharing them. More consistency, dependablity, reliability, and stabily in layer 2 is the goal.

Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House just before 1PM, putting my focus first on straining out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, and taking some photos for these posts. After those were done, I led a cacao-planting party in the large jungle chicken pen, and together with Aukuna, Austin, and Zai, we planted 6 cacao trees (that I had grown from seed) in the ground. It felt good to get more of my plants in the ground. Once that was done, I grabbed some leftover food from the Landing fridge, and I headed back to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on notifications. I got everything done on Hive just after 10:30PM, and after some scanning of my X feed, and token management, I went to bed around 12AM. I did sleep reasonably well, though I still felt like I needed more in the morning when I woke up around 8:30AM. I did a round of token management, and then started on this post, before getting out of bed just after 9AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.

It's now just after 12PM, so a great time to end this post, so that I can get to a few important Hive tasks, and then prepare for my mini session (focused work) with Harmony (that had to be rescheduled). After Harmony's session, I'll strain out and blend kefir, take more post photos, and then get to land work later in the afternoon. I deeply appreciate you all so very much! Until tomorrow! 2024 Life Goals

1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do. 

2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness. 

3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others. 

4.) Dance regularly again.

5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again. 

 6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.

7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again. 

8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.

9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships. 

10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice. 

11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
