I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #681 - Hive Income-Token Income Breakdown - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, June 8, 2024
I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
This morning I had the idea to look over and add up all the HIVE and SWAP.HIVE that I receive weekly and monthly from just over a handful of my favorite income tokens. This is the first time that I've actually done this, and the results were both fascinating and even a bit surprising. The tokens that I included in this analysis are BRO, BXT, COM, DRIP, EDS, and LGN. It just came to mind today that I really should include BBH in this list of income tokens, since it pays out SWAP.HIVE once per week, but when I went to look for incoming SWAP.HIVE transactions from the usual distribution account, I couldn't find any, so I'll hold off on that one for the moment.
Income Tokens are one of the wonders of Hive, because just by holding or staking them, we receive daily, weekly, or occasionally monthly, rewards. These rewards that we receive depend on the token, but income tokens break down into two main types, miner tokens, usually with an M at the end of the word for the token that it 'mines', and dividend-paying tokens, which pay out either HIVE, SWAP.HIVE, or an assortment of other tokens. I've come to really appreciate the income tokens, or dividend-paying tokens, that pay out HIVE and SWAP.HIVE, as those two assets are extremely useful on the Blockchain indeed, and in various ways.
It was easy to determine exactly how much I'm making from some tokens, while for others it was more of a moving target that I had to guestimate. I rounded everything up to 2 or 3 digits. The numbers in parenthesis represent the amount of each token that I presently hold or stake. Of the tokens analyzed below, the holdings of all of them are continually rising on a daily or weekly basis, except for BXT, which only grows if I decide to buy more.
Pays Out in HIVE
BRO (4.747 held): 0.015 HIVE per week, 0.06 HIVE per month
BXT (24.377 staked): 0.113 HIVE per week, 0.452 HIVE per month
EDS (20.54 held): 0.09 HIVE per week, 0.36 HIVE per month
LGN (30.36 staked): 0.028 HIVE per week, 0.112 HIVE per month
0.246 total HIVE per week
0.984 total HIVE per month
Pays Out in SWAP.HIVE
COM (14,163.724 held): 0.074 SWAP.HIVE per week, 0.296 SWAP.HIVE per month
DRIP (7.746 staked): 0.016 SWAP.HIVE per week, 0.064 SWAP.HIVE per month
0.09 total SWAP.HIVE per week
0.36 total SWAP.HIVE per month
BXT has always been a high-performing income token, and in seeing its numbers from my analysis today, I realize that I want to start buying more of it once again, as that's the only way that I can grow that one. At first, after observing my BRO and LGN income for a while, that pay out HIVE daily and weekly respectively, I mistakenly assumed that BRO was paying out more for the amount of tokens held/staked, but after actually adding up the numbers, it became quickly apparent that LGN was netting me almost double what I was getting from BRO. EDS just keeps growing and chugging along, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see the amount that I was actually receiving from holding it. DRIP gives a lot of bang for the buck, and it's also a self-growing token, so the more we DRIP we have, the more SWAP.HIVE and DRIP that we receive every day. COM is often poorly appreciated, but I've come to love it, and seeing what I'm actually getting from it each day, week, and month, I'm quite happy with my HP delegation to @hivelist. With the perspective that this analysis provides me, it makes it clear to me that I want to allocate some SWAP.HIVE to buying more BXT and DRIP, since those are the only two in this group that I don't receive from HP delegations. I'm also thinking that I want to give a bit of focus to growing my holding of SIM, since past 8,000 held it begins to pay out HIVE, and because it's a lower-value token, it would be quite cheap to get ahold of many thousands of them at a time. Yep, I adore good income tokens.
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House just a little after 2PM, after wrapping up my Hive tasks. As I usually do, I strained out and blended kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) first, before diving into anything else. After kefir, I took a few rounds of photos for these posts, in the gorgeous late afternoon sun. For land work, I put my attention and energy first on moving the huge pile of weeds that I had cleared in my giant can-of-worms project from the other day, and that was still lying on the lawn. With that out of the way, I got my machete and a wheelbarrow and collected a full load of assorted edible tree leaves, for cow-milking food. After working, I buzzed my head and face, I took a shower, made some of my spicy seasoned popcorn in the Landing, which I took down to Tutu's, in preparation for Iolanthe's 12th birthday party. Melekai, Iolanthe, and Elohi had gone to Maui for a few days, and Ano was returning with them from the airport in the early evening. It was going to be a semi-surprise party, and quite a few people came to be a part of it, including several that used to live here at GaiaYoga Gardens. I was planning to stay to participate too, but the more people came, the more I was feeling that I wanted to leave, which I did end up doing, just before they got back from the airport. After leaving Tutu's, I stopped off first at the Landing to pick up my jar of kefir from the fridge, then returning to the Flow House, to finally get into my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on my notifications. I got everything done on Hive just after 9PM, and after a good amount of time spent on Ecency Waves, and a quick scan of my Bastyon and X feeds, I went to bed by around 11PM. I did sleep well, very thankfully, waking up just after 7AM, doing a round of token management, beginning on this post, and then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee, and take a few photos in the lovely morning sun.
It's now just after 12:45PM, so a very good time to end this post, so that I can get to my few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon, to first strain out and blend kefir, maybe take more photos, possibly make food, and then get back to Hive, for my usual tasks, catching up on notifications, some Waves, and then writing my 106th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update, which I'll either publish tonight or tomorrow morning. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until that post tonight or tomorrow, and the next version of this post tomorrow! Always forward, onward, and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.
4.) Dance regularly again.

6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.
7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.
10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.
11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
