I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

In my posts I've spoken often about what, from my perspective, makes a solid layer-2 project, with dependability, reliability, consistent communication with the Hive community, and a strong team being at the top of my list. I got clarity on this when I contrasted various projects with each other, and I noticed some quite notable and glaring differences. Since layer-2 projects depend on community trust to succeed and thrive, especially over the long term, building that trust is absolutely essential, because it represents the value of the project and its assets.

One aspect of an excellent project, that I haven't mentioned yet, and that does indeed build trust with the community, is making good when things go wrong, such as when delegation or token-holding/staking payouts are missed. Some project leaders, once they fix the problem, skip the missed payouts, and continue forward as if nothing happened, which I must say does not leave a good imppression with project supporters at all. Yes, it's great that the issue was fixed, but what about the missed payouts for those who's support did not waver during the downtime? That doesn't seem right to me.

1000014277.jpg

Polish_20220714_121631044.jpg

In contrast to this dynamic, there are other project leaders, who deeply valuing the support that they receive, make certain that any missed payouts are made up. As someone who supports many different layer-2 projects, that feels way better to me, and further strengthens my trust and my desire to continue giving my support to such projects.

Recently I wrote about how my usual daily payouts for my staked COM and BXT tokens were interrupted, which definitely tossed a wrench in my token management. I communicated the issues to both project heads as soon as I noticed them. After multiple missed days, BXT finally began paying out normally again, but with no makeup or backpayments. There were more issues with COM than just the initial one that I had reported, with succeeding payouts being sporadic. From past experience, that project never does makeup payouts, so the present multiple missed payouts is very frustrating to me, to say the least.

Yesterday, for the first time, the SWAP.HIVE payouts for my staked DRIP did not arrive as they usually do, though the daily payouts of more DRIP did come in on schedule. I checked the @hivedrip account, and as I expected, it had run out of SWAP.HIVE, which I immediately communicated to the project leads on their Discord server. This morning, not only did I receive the missed SWAP.HIVE, but also an extra payout of DRIP, so not only was the problem handled very well, but how it was down went above and beyond what I had hoped or expected. Now that is how issues like this should be addressed! It was exceptional and exemplary, and my desire to support the DRIP project has not only remained unwavering, but it's actually increased. I may soon be unstaking and selling my COM holdings, to then buy more DRIP. I'll decide within the next few days, so we shall see.

Yesterday, Wednesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a little after 2PM, heading to the Landing first to strain and blend kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao). With kefir done, I focused on taking more photos for these posts, and a little later in the afternoon, some for my entry in the Shadow Hunters Contest as well. I also helped Ano move two of our generators, one to the shop again to be repaired, and the other back to powersharing, to hook back up to the solar electrical system. Things have been crazier than ever around GaiaYoga, which is exhausting to me, so I returned to the Flow House earlier in the evening, to begin on my usual Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by around 10:30PM, and after a little token management, and tracking events on X, I went to bed around 11:45PM. I woke up around 7AM, feeling pretty good, doing a round of token management, catching up more on my notifications, then getting out of bed around 8:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee. It's now just after 11:30AM, so a great time to end this post, so that I can get to my few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon, to first take photos for these posts, and for my entry in the Reflection Hunters Contest, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of this post, and maybe my Reflection Hunters entry later today! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

2024 Life Goals

1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.

2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.

3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.

4.) Dance regularly again.

5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.

6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.

7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.

9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth, care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.

10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.

11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

🩺Today's Medical/Health TitBit🩺

Risks of a diabetic

People with diabetes are at a much higher risk of developing various health complications. For instance, they are 25 times more likely to develop blindness compared to non-diabetic individuals. To minimize this risk, it's important to carefully control blood sugar levels. This can be achieved through a combination of lifestyle changes, regular physical activity, and medications. In addition to the increased risk of blindness, diabetics also face a 20 times higher risk of lower limb amputation, a 6 times higher risk of stroke, a 5 times higher risk of kidney damage, and a 2-3 times higher risk of heart attack.

I want to share something I've been excited about lately. It's called LiveGood, and it's all about helping people improve their health, save on daily products, and even create an additional income stream if they're interested.

If you're curious, here is a quick short video that explains it. The best part is that they accept Crypto as a payment option!

Hiya Adam, it's wondeful seeing you pop on here on my post again! Well, honestly things have been very challenging in my jungle community lately, much more than usual, but I'm doing OK. How are you as of late? Thanks a lot, I appreciate that! I'm divesting from COM, and thankfully there have been some increased payments for BXT, so the missed payouts there are being made up, thankfully. Yeah, I love DRIP! It sure is amazing for how the DRIP leadership handled it! Many thanks again, brother, and very likewise! Have a wildly wonderful Wednesday! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
