My 105th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 2/3 Weekly Goals Exceeded, and Trading-Fund Ponderings - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, June 2, 2024

My last Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update can be found here. This goals-and-progress post serves as my weekly participation in the Saturday Savers Club.

Welcome to my 105th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! This has been a rather uneventful, though solid, week of growth for me. I gave my Hive Power a small boost with my powerup of 19.4 HIVE for the June 1st HPUD, that described in my June 1st HPUD - Hive Power Up Day - 19.4 HIVE Powered Up! post. I also claimed 4.556 HBD in Savings interest last Monday afternoon, which took me to around 285 HBD in Savings. It's growing faster and faster.

I've been doing some calculations, and thinking and feeling into how best to use the almost 5,300 SWAP.HIVE that I have on Hive Engine as a trading fund. My present choices are convert it all to HIVE and power it up, convert half to HIVE to power up and swap half to HBD to put into Savings, or just continue slowly building my trading fund to a substantial level on Hive Engine through tactical trading. Each choice has potential benefits, that I'm still weighing.

Since I don't think that I have anything more notable to share, let's jump into the numbers, to see how I did from last week I to this one! Onward!

#1177/1179 for HBD in Savings - unfortunately ranking for HBD in Savings was broken, yet again, so I couldn't collect the data - doh! 

This week I gained +58.907 HP, +7.121 HBD in Savings, and +0.03 Reputation, which means that I exceeded my HP goal by +9.177 HP, my goal for HBD in Savings by +0.891 HBD, but that I was under my Reputation goal by -0.01 Reputation, so overall a pretty good week. Reputation is still quite a bugger to attempt to predict.

In terms of my HiveBuzz Reputation ranking I made a massive leap of +107 places this week, with my HP ranking rising modestly by +6 places, and my ranking of HBD in Savings was sadly and frustratingly not accessible because it wasn't working on HiveBuzz, again. My Reputation ranking has never risen in such a large increment before, so this is unusual to say the least, especially with my HP ranking rising by such a small amount, even though it's grown much more than my Reputation. Weird and wild stuff, folks!

As I mentioned above, I'm pondering how best I can fuel growth with the almost 5,300 SWAP.HIVE that I've been growing as my trading fund on Hive Engine. Yes, I can grow it many fold over time, with sufficient patience, but it's just sitting there in my wallet as I wait for SWAP.LTC and/or SWAP.DOGE prices to move back into a profitable range. Converting all or half of it to HIVE and powering it up, and possibly swapping half for HBD to put into Savings, would give me a rather large boost, and would also allow for passive-income interest for both, which won't happen if I just leave my trading fund on Hive Engine, waiting for good prices. I'm still letting this percolate for a bit, to see what the most growth-impactful choice might be.

Now for my goals for this new week! All of them are achievable stretches, which is the sweet spot that I'm always seeking. Reputation is such a challenge to put into goals, but I do my bestest. It's exciting that I'll be surpassing 7,000 HP the week after this one, so another big milestone incoming. I'll pass 290 HBD in Savings soon, too, which is exciting in its own right. Let's see how I do this week!
