Welcome to my 83rd Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! What a great week of building, growing, and saving it's been, and a fantastic way to end the year, with all three of my weekly goals smashed this week! Today, New Year's Eve, is also #HPUD for my time zone, and the day I compile and write this monster update, so I'm a very buzzy Hive bee, with three posts to write! I wrote and published my January 1st HPUD - Hive Power Up Day - New Year's Eve Powerup! post just a little while before beginning to compile the token data for this one. It's been a very Hive-focused New Year's Eve indeed!

Because it's the last day of the year, and actually for me just a few more minutes until 2024 rolls in, it's also time to solidly set my 2024 Hive Goals. Mind you, I was already writing about my new goals for the next year pretty much as soon as I completed my massive powerup to dolphin 🐬 level on the December 1st #HPUD, but today is the perfect time to dig them up once again and make them official! The ones that I chose at the beginning of the month are still the ones that I'm choosing now for this coming year. 10,000 HP, 70 Reputation, and 500 HBD in Savings are very worthy, challenging, and achievable goals for 2024. I'm definitely going to the have to work for them, that is for sure!

I've had some stellar growth this year, gaining almost 5,000 HP, and even in just this month since my mega powerup at the beginning of the month I've gained almost 200 HP! Those are some pretty nice numbers there!

This week I gained +63.548 HP, +0.057 Reputation, and +6.156 HBD in Savings, which means that I surpassed my HP goal by +11.908 HP, my Reputation goal by +0.011 Reputation, and my goal for HBD in Savings by +0.886 HBD! Yes, that's an excellent way to usher in the New Year! Part of the reason that my gain for HBD in Savings was so high is because I claimed +3.661 HBD in interest.

In terms of my HiveBuzz Reputation ranking, I jumped up +32 places this week, with my HP ranking rising by +14 places, and my ranking for HBD in Savings going up by +3 places (which was the same gain as last week). My ranking for Reputation continues to outpace my ranking for HP and HBD in Savings, which is so curious to me indeed, because it's the one that rises the most slowly. I ain't gonna complain, though! It's fricking awesome!

One rather annoying thing that I've noticed over rhe part week or two is that my SWAP.HIVE income dropped off notably, partly because I'm now receiving less from the diesel/liquidity pools, and partly because one of the income tokens that pays me in SWAP.HIVE apparently broke yet again, COM. This has pretty severely limited the amount of liquidity that I can add to várious diesel/liquidity pools, which is just plain annoying. I love Hive a whole lot, but it would be really great if things worked a heck of a lot more consistently than they tend to do lately. The seemingly never-ending issues with Hive-Engine nodes definitely make me think that we need to do things somewhat differently, because this is ridiculous!

As always, the weekly goals that I chose are ones that are both stretches and yet achievable ones. I could probably set my HP goal a bit higher, as I almost always surpass that one. In any case, I think that they're good ones for this coming week!

I also put my 2024 Hive Goals just below my weekly goals, and I think I'll just leave them there for the whole year, to show that for which I'm shooting for this year. Here we go!
