My 90th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: All Three Weekly Goals Smashed, and 6,300 HP by Tomorrow! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, February 18, 2024

My last Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update can be found here. This goals-and-progress post serves as my weekly participation in the Saturday Savers Club.

Welcome to my 90th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! While this was another excellent week of growth, with me surpassing all three of my weekly goals, it was also definitely one fraught with some challenges! The biggest reason for this was the fact that @arcange's servers were hacked and disabled (although his witness node continued to function) on February 10th, which took a whole host of very important Hive websites and services offline, including both the HiveBuzz website and notification service, the Engage website, as well as HiveSQL, HiveAuth, Hive NET, Hive Recovery, Hive Autoclaim, and Xfer.

Since many token-payment accounts depend on HiveSQL to distribute their daily or weekly payments, these payments stopped at that time. For me, I stopped receiving delegation payouts in DBOND, DHEDGE, DVS, EDS (except for the EDSMM lottery), and LGN (after I wrote this two makeup payments came in for LGN), so my numbers for those tokens are lower this week than they would normally be. Very thankfully @arcange was able to restore HiveSQL from an old backup, and he was able to get it up and running again, but since the backup was a few months old, it is taking time for it to catch up to the present blockchain height. It's in process, though, so at least that one service will be functional again soon.

While the Hive Power APR dropped from 2.98% to 2.95% this week, my curation APR rose a fair bit, somewhat offsetting it. Overall my HP continues to grow at a nice pace, and I've begun to track it with more fine-tuned detail regarding the various aspects that contribute to its accelerated growth. Presently I'm sitting just under 6,300 HP, which I'll surpass early this coming week, probably by tomorrow.

Curiously, although several times last week I saw the APR for HBD in Savings drop to 19%, I have not seen that again much at all this week, so perhaps it was just some odd fluke. I'm very happy to see it remain at 20%.

The HiveBuzz website, along with many other important services, have been down since @arcange's servers were hacked and disabled on February 10, so I could not collect data, so no change from last week.

This week I gained +37.97 HP, +0.041 Reputation, and +1.068 HBD in Savings, which means that I exceeded my HP goal by +6.815 HP, my Reputation goal by +0.004 Reputation, and my goal for HBD in Savings by +0.104 HBD, which is pretty sweet all around! Mind you, this week's goals were slightly more conservative because I missed two goals last week, but it's still nice to surpass my expectations!

As mentioned above, since the HiveBuzz website was one that was taken offline from the hack, I was obviously not able to collect my ranking data from it for a second week in a row. Hopefully it will be able to be restored very soon.

I've been really liking the performance of COM since my delegation to @hivelist, with my daily drips of SWAP.HIVE continuing to rise. Since I have a steady and consistent income for COM, I want to focus on acquiring more BXT, which pays out daily in HIVE, as well as DRIP, which pays out daily in SWAP.HIVE. I really love reliable and consistent income tokens!

My goals for this coming week are reasonable stretches, which is always my goal for my goals! I'm still being a little more conservative, especially with Reputation and HBD in Savings. As mentioned above, I'll surpass 6,300 HP early this coming week, which will be another milestone reached, and a further boost to the rate of my HP growth. Let's see if I am able to surpass all three weekly goes once again!
