The number of Hive users on your #Ecency Favorites only affect the number of notifications you receive while using the Ecency frontend, and typically shouldn't affect your posting and commenting. 🤔🤓

Good thing that #Ecency doesn't notify any user whenever he or she (is Favorited or) removed from Favorites by another user right on the Ecency frontend, so that he or she won't get disappointed by getting removed from someone's Favorite list. 🤓😅

With dozens of active, up-to-date Hive Witnesses, that's extremely unlikely to happen, even for a short time. 😎 The times that technical issues most likely happen is every time the Hive blockchain hard forks (such as from HF26 to HF27). 🤓

I'm more concerned with Hive's weak points and attack vectors. Hive is quite resilient, but it is wide open to DNS attacks, since it relies on many websites. If people can't get to the websites, it's a mute point whether Hive itself is still functioning. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Hive should have a feature where it can be accessed outside of DNS (such as the censorship-proof I2P or ZeroNet) while not replacing DNS altogether. 🤔🤓

Yes, that's correct, it should. I had the idea to incorporate a Hive DNS Service integrated into Hive Keychain that would keep an constantly-updated list of Hive websites and their respective IP addresses, that can be accessed whether external DNS is functioning or not. It gets a little more complex with server farms. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
