This gave me flashbacks, of my days growing up in the subdivisions of Independence. (Are you humming the Rush song?). Especially that gutter... we would go under the street... and emerge into the awesome woods just beyond. If we walked a little farther. We could jump the fence and sit on top of what was then called "CDC Geospace". Basically, a cave system that was a storage area for various businesses. We didn't dare go inside, as there were roaming guards that came out to make sure there weren't young kids (not us!) out doing things they shouldn't lol.

Of course, the fence wasn't there at the time. We actually used to play pick up baseball in that field on the other side of that fence. I'm surprised we didn't hit balls into the highway, really.

You know I was teasing... but wow. I can tell you; it didn't take very long to get in trouble. Once my mom found out where I was going lol. But this was what we did, right? There weren't any smart phones. You went outside!! You fell down! Ahhh... but you know me. I love all things technology!
