Christmas Advent, 2022: Day 23
Day 23 of the Harry Potter Lego Christmas Advent Calendar! Day 2 of the 3 builds from The Deathly Hallows, Part 2.
Now this is what I'm talking about! The Hogwart's Express! And lookit all the little mini pieces!
This was a surprisingly complex build to understand how to put together, but once I figured it out the rest fell right into place. What a great little build! This is definitely one of my favourite of the set. I continue to be amazed at what just a few little pieces can do when put together in just the right way.
One of the causes of confusion on my part was all the pieces. This package had a lot of left over pieces. When I was putting the build together I was puzzling over what went where. They went nowhere!
One more build to go!

What I Learned Today
Keeping yourself busy building, steam engine looks fine, not sure where the spares would go either!
That's a fun engine for sure. All of the builds had a few extra pieces; I might need to see if I can build something odd and obscure with them!
Old faithful Lego have been used and enjoyed over the years, sure to find a place with spares to make something along the way.
