Ideas for Another Giveaway

I've been toying with the idea of running another giveaway. I don't want to do another silver or gold giveaway just yet. I wanted to do something crypto-related, so even those who would be hesitant to give out a mailing address could enter and still be relatively anonymous receiving their prize.

(Created with Bing)

I think the best way to do this is to keep it simple and within Hive would be to give away Hive-Engine tokens as prizes. Ideally, these tokens would reward holders/stakers with upvotes, Hive dividends, etc., so there's added value. This would be tokens like EDS, DUO, LGN, SIM, etc.

To make it so everyone wins, I'm considering having the ticket price be 1 HBI. A Hive Based Income unit can be sponsored by anyone to anyone and provides both parties with lifetime upvotes on their posts.

Should different ticket sales numbers unlock bigger prizes?

What do you think? Does this sound like a good idea? If not, what would you recommend doing differently?

I don't know honestly, you should check what makes most sense in terms of price and ticket sales.. Good luck with that :)

It would be great if there was a token that represented gold or silver in Hive.

There are a few, but none that I'd really trust

This ain’t ever be case. Not reliable.
The whole point of metals is u hold it u own it. All a crypto representing metals is a centralized company who has major third party risk in charge of holding it. Many hold it at Government vaults. It defeats entire point. Gold or Silver cryptos will always be ridiculously a fail because it’s just a company holding metal. Never trust these things. On other side it has no value as a crypto alone because it’s a centralized company that has no value outside being responsible for holding a physical item. It’s worst parts of both words. At least if u just pay a company to hold metals in a vault you get insurance. Hess projects have ridiculous fine print.. Stay away!
