My Splinterlands Recap and Overview
A LOT has gone on in the last 2 weeks with me and my Splinterlands Gaming and we are going to dive into it now!
New Guild
This one took me a long time to wrestle with because I had nothing bad against my old clan. I still love you all. BUT my new/old friend @nozem01 had his own guild that was getting basically the same rewards per brawl that my old guild was getting. But they had a few open spots so if me and 1 or 2 of my friends moved to this Guild we would get better rewards.
So after talking to all the people and everyone being okay with moving Guilds, we pulled the trigger!
We are Rank #827. Which isn't amazing but for a rag tag team of deliguents it's not bad at all!
New Alt Account
We ran into 1 problem with our new Guild and that we needed 1 more spot filled. So I took it upon myself to create yet ANOTHER Hive account for the sole purpose of playing Splinterlands with it for Brawls.
I wanted to wait until Conclave Arcana released so I could get the new set cards instead of the Chaos Legion packs but I couldn't wait that long.
Not going to lie... I asked ChatGPT to give me fun usernames based around Viking lore and after a little back and forth we came up with "Swagnar-Ragnar" and so it stuck!
I don't intend to ever post with that account or do anything with that account except play Splinterlands. And while Blockchains are natively open to see, someone could track down all the accounts tied to me and whatever.
I had a bad experience with that on WAX where people saw I had multiple accounts and for 1 specific game started to accuse me of multi accounting and cheating.. even though you could very clearly tell by the transaction dates that I never played the game with multiple accounts. I would get banned with zero reason and so created a new account and started to play again. Rinse and Repeat (which was 100% legal and stated as such in their Terms of Service).
But because of that I now make it habit to be VERY CLEAR with what accounts I own.
Cherokee4life (main account for everything)
Witness4All (my Hive Witness Account)
Swagnar-Ragnar (alt Splinterlands account)
TrocProcLock (dead account not used for anything)
Land/Plot Updates
I have started to change my focus a little bit with Land. I do NOT have the LAND required to have a full scale operation yet. So with that in mind I am focusing on just building up my various plots of Land 1 at a time.
Here is my current Land Holdings:
Common Jungle - starting a Research Hut Build (eta 337 days)
Common Forest - SPS Mine completed
Common Plains - Grain Farm (eta 40 days)
Rare Forest - old Grain Farm completed (I assume will be converted to Log/Wood?)
Common Forest - nothing yet
I do not have the cards necessary to really build quickly but that is okay, I am in this long haul.
I want to get 1 Plot of land for each resource and also a SPS Mine and Research Mine. (but now they introduced yet another building the other day).
Land is getting pricey though so I am going to start to have to pick up land quickly if I want to make a decent run at this.
Conclave Arcana & Cards
I have 40,000 DEC ready and waiting to purchase the 4,000 DEC Standard Booster Packs of Conclave Arcana. That is 10 packs of cards and I also have enough Alchemy and Legendary Potions for them as well.
I have stopped purchasing Rebellion & Chaos Legion cards because I don't think it is worth it with a new set releasing VERY SOON.
I still do buy some Chaos Legion cards that I can use to level up existing cards that I use to work on my land but that is it.
WAX is a good place to pick up cheap Chaos Legion cards for me and then to send over in batches to HIVE.
To put my money where my mouth is. I bought 20 Standard Booster Packs already in the Pre-Sale!
So that means as of right now I will have 20 packs to open and also I earned 2 "Arcane Skinwalker" cards which is nice!
20 packs equals
20 Rare Cards (guaranteed)
80 Common Cards (guaranteed)
That is 100 total Conclave Arcana Cards with 20 at least will be Rare.
And I just realized I can't count and math very well...
For some reason I thought it was 1 potion per pack.. well time to buy more potions I guess!

Good thing I had some Glint laying around!
Now I am ready to open my packs when they are live!
Going Forward
My Main Splinterlands account has a decent chunk of SPS staked and I can get into Silver pretty regularly each season if I try. But now that I have a new alt account, I do not have the time to play both accounts. So I think what I might do is try out one of those auto play bots on my main account once Modern format is Conclave Arcana and Rebellion. And let him loose in Wild with all my Chaos Legion cards and such and see what damage he can do.
I know the bot takes a cut but if I truly am using that account as my main LAND account and not do battles (except brawls) then even a small portion of SPS/Glint winnings each season is great. Time will tell.
When Conclave Arcana actually releases though I am going to focus on picking up Summoners on secondary. That I think has been my biggest drawback with the Rebellion set. So if I can start out with high Summoners uhh I mean Archons or whatever then it will set me up for success down the road. I know I will pay a premium for it but I think it will work out in the long run for me.
I am officially a Hive Witness Node now. Which you can read about in my post here:
Or if you want you can vote for me as a Witness! It costs you nothing and you can vote for up to 30 Witnesses (but only vote for people/projects you trust, so if that isn't me than don't vote for me)
Vote with Hive Signer
Vote for Witness4All as a Witness Node!
Vote with Hive.Uno
https://vote.hive.uno/@witness4all
Both those links do the same thing so no need to do both IF you are voting. And thank you if you do vote!
I love what you're doing man!
Let me know when you want to try the Archmage bot and if you're serious with botting, xbot is more expensive but it also auto harvests your land, and takes a lower sps cut
I think I honestly want to wait until Conclave Arcana is in Modern Format to try out a bot.
Before getting the 2k DEC for Wild format was too high a barrier but now thats easy enough. But my main account would be trash without all my Chaos Legion cards in Wild.
IF you want to sell your Archmage bot token before that though please go for it. We both know I can scrounge up a few bucks with FreeCash to buy a bot token down the road. But if you don't sell it by then I will 100% borrow it to try it out.
Appreciate you!!!
Yes definitely wait for after rotation, I'll keep the tokens around for my army of alt accounts 😂
One day.... One day my vote will matter! lol
stupid 0.004 vote
Slowly but steadily building will get you there!
That Hive Witness you run will help with time to solve this problem :)
There, I fixed it for you now your vote will not go to waste :)
Also, I took a look at your NFG Club - Legion 2 guild and I have a proposal for you guys, how about you take all the alive accounts and merge into THGaming Brawlers? Until the switch to the monthly rentals they had multiple number one streaks in Brawls there at tier 3. Here is one for example and rewards:

Then a bunch of players stopped playing so we dropped way down even with a very strong core still in place.
We can take 10 players easily and perhaps more. There is no donation requirement and we can go back to number one spot in tier 3 brawls with some fresh members and everyone gets the rewards you see in the screen shot from brawls, plus 7% bonus in ranked/survival battles from tier 6 guild hall.
I am going to leave that to @nozem01
I think for now we are good trying to climb up organically but who knows.. maybe in time I may take you up on that offer.
It's a guild of primarily low level accounts from beginner players, it does sound tempting but tier 3 is a whole different ballgame than tier 1.
I agree with @cherokee4life we're good the way we are now, slowly growing although we face the same problem as most guilds out there, filling the frays
Sounds good, the offer still stands. My main account is in tier 5 brawls, now that is a whole different ballgame: every single fray is filled for real with max level of every card playable in that fray. And it is rare that you have one of your 9 battles not play. Tier 3 is not like that, there are lots of surrenders, lots of level one cards in Gold Level frays and sometimes even in Diamond. So even low level accounts that put in the battles helped us get to the first place in tier 3.
