Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Party Disrupted By Marisol Contuma

Time flies! Just completed the 142nd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!

Had 3 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 4th!!

So for the final result, we were 4th out of 9 guilds and got 538 Merits and around 16 SPS! A whole bag of SPS!

Individually, I had 3 fights this time and I won 2 of them this time! Finished 5th within the guild! Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 5 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop

Two Gorths face off in this battle, but it was my Chimney Wallstop that stole all the limelight. He got the crucial final hits and clocked multiple Bloodlusts and my opponent had no chance.

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver and Isgald Vorst

It all went well until the party was disrupted by the opposing Marisol Contuma. With enough Bloodlust, I was unable to hit this card at 11 speed, and from then on, it was just waiting for the battle to end as my cards got taken out one by one.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

Ever Hungry Skull when paired with Astral Entity can perform wonders at the right battles, and this battle was the one! It was almost an one card performance with Ever Hungry Skull did all the heavy lifting, with Astral Entity and Venari Marksrat playing the supporting role.

So that sums up my 3 battles for this brawl! 67% win rate! Good enough this time!

The Merits are coming in fast and I have enough Merits for my 60th Gladius case! A disappointing set of cards. When am I going to get my long awaited Quora Towershead? Arghhhhh....
