My weekly post about my Terracore journey on HIVE (Part 7)

Hello lovley scrap miners,

week 8 has passed so far. And I´m still playing Terracore of course. You can see my progress and some news about the game reading my post.

My Base

The last days were awesome for me. I was able to reach 1000 FAVOR finally. What a big success for me 💪
The first thing I did was going on two boss fights at Oceana. And I was a real lucky man: 2 fights and 1 win which gave me an uncommon crate👑 (keep in mind my luck is at 3.8% only and I rolled such small numbers).

I opened the crate and was lucky again as I got an special item with great stats for an uncommon one.

I was although able to do one quest! Quest? Yes you are reading right. We are able to do quests now. I could stand until round 8 before I completed it to claim the relics I collected. You can read more about quest in the development part 🙃

As I invested all my $SCRAP token into FAVOR I couldnt buy a crate as planned so I will keep it on my list for the coming week.

My Goal for the next week

As I mentioned above I still want to get another crate to get items for all categories at some point 💪
Now I will try to increase my staked $SCRAP to get a bit more luck to have better chances to win a boss fight. Keeping an eye on my stats is important so I will increase them whenever it is needed.

The Development

4 days ago a new dev log was posted by @crypt0gnome. He introduced quests to TerraCore finally and a big run of players with enough $FLUX started. Quests cost 2 $FLUX and can be started at every time whithout any cooldown.

How does quests work?

Each round you roll the dice. If your number is lower than the chance of success, you win the round. Each round you successfully complete gives you relics of different types (common, uncommon, rare, epic and legandary). With each round your chance of success decreases, which you can increase by up to 20% with 2 bonus effects. The bonus effects take into account certain stats of your character, such as attack, defense, dodge or luck. If you can't fulfill one of these stats, a bonus effect is completely cancelled. Luck is the deciding factor of course.
If you collected 100 of one relics type you can combine them to get a crate instead. This crate has the same drop chances of items as all the crates we have known before.

Discord stuff

A lot of chatting about quests of course and regarding $SCRAP prizes for item and the token itself. The feed for quest logs was nearly exploding for some days. As always Cat memes and $SCRAP rains are still a thing. The more you chat the more you get 😉

What is Terracore?

Terracore is a three month old idle miner game on the HIVE blockchain where you build your base to protect your mined $SCRAP tokens from the attacks of other players. For this you can improve some stats like attack, defense or critical hits.
Also, all players have the possibility to burn $SCRAP to unlock a new planet.
