I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #522 - Happy New Year, Dear Sovereignty-Loving Humans! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - December 31, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

From the jungles of far East Big Island, Hawai'i, I send a warm Happy New Year to everyone on the three sovereignty-driven blockchains where I am active, Bastyon, Hive (of course), and Qortal! 2023 certainly seemed to fly by at break-neck speed, and here we are at the beginning of another round of 365 days! Last year was punctuated by times of deep beauty and deep heartbreak for me, and I'm grateful for it all, even if it was not always fun or easy.

I accomplished much over the past year, both on and off Hive (and to a lesser degree Bastyon and Qortal), and I'm looking forward to seeing what I'm able to do in this new year. I'm very grateful that I was able to buy my new amazing laptop, and get back into Arch Linux with it, to go deeper into Hive, to get back into being active on Bastyon, and to discover and get myself involved in the wonders of Qortal. Sovereignty-Driven technology, and working with it, has definitely become something of paramount importance to me over the past year, that is for sure!

It was in 2023 that I discovered the art of engagement on Hive, and became an engagement master, coming in at the top in the Hive Engagement League and the Ecency Leaderboard, for very extended periods of time (most of the year, actually). It was in 2023 that I was able to successfully use assets made on Bastyon (PKOIN) to do my mega powerup to dolphin 🐬 level a month ago on the December 1st #HPUD, which was a huge accomplishment in itself. During last year I also became a comment moderator for @aliveandthriving's posts, which I've enjoyed, and which I've done my best to do well. Hive took on an even greater importance to me going through last year, and I've given it my all every day, as many of you have noticed. Hive is, and has been, an integral part of my day for quite some time now.

The most significant and necessary focuses for me going into this new year are healing, balance, integration, and wholeness. That has become glaringly obvious to me. I don't know yet how it will look or unfold, but I know clearly that I must give it, give myself, the attention, time, and care, that is deeply needed.

I look forward to continue growing my Hive account in 2024, which will allow me to be able to help more people, in more ways, and more fully. It will also bring me ever-closer to being able to live off of what I've created here. Both of those motivate, inspire, and excite me. The more my account grows, the more I can be a force for good, for love, kindness, and care, on our beautiful and beloved Blockchain.

Yesterday, Sunday, and New Year's Eve, was a very Hiveful day indeed, which had me focused on various Hive tasks, catching up on notifications, and putting together, writing, and publishing three posts. Aside from the previous expression of this post, I also published my January 1st HPUD - Hive Power Up Day - New Year's Eve Powerup! and My 83rd Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 3/3 Weekly Goals Smashed, HIVE Powered Up, and 2024 Goals Set! posts. I took a short time in the afternoon to take photos for this post, to pour out and blend kefir, and to make food for myself, but the whole rest of the day was devoted to Hive.

I wasn't able to get my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update post published until just before 1AM, and given that it was so late, I wrapped things on Hive up quickly and went to bed post haste just a little after 1AM. I slept well until about 6:30AM, which is when I did a round catching up on my Hive notifications, and some token management, before finally getting out of bed around 8AM to go make my superfood fire coffee. I attended the Leadership Council meeting from 10:30AM until around 11:45AM, then I headed back to the Flow House to write this post.

It's just past 1:30PM, so it's a very good time to end this post, so that I may get to my afternoon round of Hive essential tasks, then photo taking for tomorrow's version of this post, and then land work in the later afternoon. I deeply appreciate you all so very much, and I wish everyone a glorious 2024 once again! Until tomorrow! Forward, onward, and upward, together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
