I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #561 - Evaluating Progress on My 2024 Life Goals - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Friday, February 9, 2024
I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Keeping my 2024 Life Goals at the bottom of all of these posts has been a good idea, and exactly for the reason that I decided to put them there in the first place, to keep them in my daily awareness. Today, almost a month and a half after creating them, I wanted to take a look at them again, to see how I'm doing on actualizing them and making them real. Since I'm highlighting and talking about these goals now, for this post I'll move them from the bottom of this post to right here.
2024 Life Goals
1.) Heal my broken heart.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness, and do regular integral practices.
3.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
4.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
5.) Continue my work with Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, Bastyon, and other sovereignty-driven technologies, as well as learn relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute.
6.) Get regular healing sessions with women flowing again.
1.) Heal my broken heart.
I definitely feel like I've made progress here, and although I do indeed know that there is much more to face, heal, and reintegrate, things are slowly beginning to move in a good direction. I absolutely do need to give this more attention, time, energy, and efforts. The challenges in this endeavor are rather large and numerous, so it's very much not an easy process. It's exceedingly important, of course, so I will keep working at it.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness, and do regular integral practices.
I don't feel like I've made much if any progress on this goal yet, unfortunately, even though its importance is paramount in my mind. I've been talking with Liza about getting together to begin some sort of regular practices, but we haven't done so yet. Part of the issue is finding time to do them, but I know that if it's important enough to me that I will make time in my days for them. Now I just have to actually do it!
3.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
Thankfully I have been making some good progress here. I've been working in my nursery over the past week or so, cleaning, weeding, and organizing, and I'm making some good headway, which gives me a feeling of satisfaction. Mind you, there is a great deal still to do to get it back to a functional and beautiful place, probably weeks of focused work, but the process has begun.
4.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
This is another one that, although it is very important me, has not progressed much at all yet. I have gotten ahold of necessary infrastructure and supplies, like a good number of half-gallon Mason jars and high-quality plastic lids, to make doing regular tea batches possible again, so that is a very good thing at least. Making time to begin collecting and processing plants from the land is something, that like my regular practices, that I just have to start doing.
5.) Continue my work with Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, Bastyon, and other sovereignty-driven technologies, as well as learn relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute.
Honestly I don't really think that I need to have this in my list of goals for the year, because so much of my time each day is focused in these directions anyway. The one area where I have not moved forward, howwever, is in learning relevant coding/programming languages. Perhaps that alone should be the goal for this year, as everything else is pretty well covered.
6.) Get regular healing sessions with women flowing again.
This one is actually beginning to flow again pretty well. It's funny that I can go months without giving sessions, then when I give one after a woman seeks me out again, multiple other women begin to do the same very soon afterward, and I move into another cycle of giving several sessions each month, and sometimes multiple in a week. That definitely seems to be happening now, as after giving Nadia her session, Liza is asking about getting one, Amelia (who used to live at GaiaYoga Gardens, and with whom I've worked in sessions many times) just contacted me about another session, and Audrey (with whom I've worked in sessions for years) will be back on the Island very soon and always wants regular sessions. So this goal is also going quite well it would seem, very thankfully.
Looking more closely at my 2024 Life Goals today, I can see clearly that I have made some reasonable progress with 3 of my 6 goals for the year, which is not bad. Yes, it could be better, and that's why I'm giving it attention today, so that I can improve my success. I'm actually somewhat pleasantly surprised that I have moved forward with so many of my goals, and in only a month and a half. Now I have a little over 10 1/2 months to get the other 3 moving, and to keep the momentum of the 3 in which I've had success so far moving forward.
I left the Flow House yesterday, Friday, just after 1:30AM, earlier than usual. I got quite a few things done in my day, which also gave me a feeling of accomplishment. Even before I went to take photos for this post, I buzzed my head and face, as I was getting a bit too shaggy for my tastes. After cutting my hair, I took a shower to wash off loose hairs, then I finally focused on taking photos for this post. With photo taking done, I went to check in on Sperry, and to bring him a quart of my kefir blend. After visiting Sperry, I felt inspired to plant another assorted batch of my plants in the ground, which felt very good to do. I also agreed to collect cow food for the day, which thankfully didn't take very long to finish. With cow food done, I went to continue working in my nursery, cleaning, weeding, and organizing. I also collected another batch of plants from my nursery to put in the ground, that I carried in a tray up to the Landing, to stage until I'm able to decide where to plant them.
With work for the day completed, I strained out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made myself food, grabbed my leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, then I headed back to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on notifications, which I finished just before 9PM. I spent the rest of my night scanning my X feed, doing some token management, and sharing some great conversations in the General Chat on Qortal. I finally went to bed just before 12AM, and I did not sleep very well, sadly, waking up just after 8AM, doing a round of token management, then finally getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee.
It's just before 1:30PM, so it's a great time to end this post, so that I can get to my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks, and then leave the Flow House in the later afternoon, to first put my attention on taking the rest of the photos for tomorrow's expression of this post, and then land work. I deeply appreciate you all so very much! Until tomorrow! Forward, onward, and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

What a great example of evaluating progress! I too have taken a habit of writing down tasks that I want accomplished. I find that I am most likely to complete them when I do. There's satisfaction in seeing tasks being ticked off my list. Wishing you more success in the upcoming months of the year. I believe we have the time to work on improving ourselves. Happy Sunday! Keep on inspiring!

Thank you so very much for that, @iamraincrystal! It's greatly appreciated! That's excellent, and yes, writing goals down, and keeping the in our awareness, really does help in accomplishing them! Indeed, there is a lot of satisfaction in checking tasks off our lists for sure! Thanks ever so much again! I do have time, but I can't rest on my laurels, as time goes quite quickly, as I know that you know well! I shall do my absolute best! Happy Monday! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
Bringing your set goals to the limelight is a beautiful step to ensure its fulfillment.
It's great you have ticked out 3 out of 6 and are eager to work on the rest. More grace dear friend. Be good✨💕
Thanks mountains, dear Whitney! Yes, it's super helpful, because it keeps them in my awareness, which dramatically increases the probability of them being successfully accomplished!
It is a good feeling to have had so much progress, especially so soon! I just have to keep them in focus, and continue moving forward with them! Many thanks again, dear! I shall always do my absolute best! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
It looks like 50% of your goals have some progresses. That's not bad.
Way to go :)
