Hive keychain autoclaim function

I know most of you seldom dig into what the Hive Keychain could do.

Well, I have done the work, so you didn't have to.

You would have known that I was ranting about claiming free accounts lately.

While I mucked around with my Hive keychain, I found the following exciting feature:

Holy molly! Did you see these claiming tools inbuilt into Hive Keychain???!

  • Claim rewards
  • Claim accounts
  • Claim saving interest

Just the tools that I need, right under Hive Keychain.

Where did I find it?

Get to the menu bar (logo looking like three horizontal lines on the right), and click it.

Something like the one below should appear.

CLick User Preferences and you should see the following:

Click Automated tasks and you will see the autoclaim functions.

I have not experienced how it works because it's not time to claim yet. But I will just leave it activated for now.

Great discovery on the app. Now I really have to make it work on my phone. I can't pass the import account stage. It just stops there with a 'TypeError: Network request failed'.

Thanks much again for this other tip and for the addon @cryptothesis. Even though we usually prefer to manually update the systems we use, we choose to automate the Hive keychain auto-claim function for now, just noticed we don't have the "claim account" option check-box though.

I think the claim account would appear if there is about 5k hp.

Thanks for the information @cryptothesis. It's interesting to know what other features that Hive offer which I don't know either.

I think it doesn't show up for me in my keychain because sometimes the costs are above what my maximum RCs allow. Maybe when my HP grows a bit more, I can just use the auto claim feature but for now it's manual for me.

But now I discovered that here I could see easily as well the RC delegations I made...

I'm only not sure I understand the second check box. Why would keychain "withdraw" when I'm claiming something?... !PIZZA
