Sloth Meme Contest Week 5
I really like burn posts, I know, it's sort of pointless voting on a burn post... but is it really? Creating scarcity is a good thing. It helps create deflation. For any token of any value, deflating the supply does (or should) increase demand.
So slothy is doing good work here, he's taking his valuable tokens and DUMPING them in the DUMPSTER FIRE.
But we all have to admit, sending tokens to @null (one of the richest accounts on HIVE) seems a waste. But maybe not really...
@NULL must really like BPC token, as there are (burned) over 8 quadrillian BPC.

Burn posts definitely have their charm, and you're right, creating scarcity can have a positive impact on value.
Deflationary moves like these can indeed spark demand.
Slothy's dedication to tossing valuable tokens into the proverbial dumpster fire is both amusing and commendable in its own way.

If burning increases coins value, why doesn't it happen to BPC?
That is a valid question. I would suppose what little value they have would be significantly less with an additional 8 quadrillian more tokens in circulation.
