Camping 🏕️ First Trip This Year
Today, we are on our way to a secluded camping spot called Love Joy Falls. A few weeks ago, we took the doggies and kiddos down to Harrison Bay in Chattanooga to this tree house campsite. They frign loved it from catching toads around the site to making s'mores to fishing and swimming.

We had a great time. They loved the tree house and spent quite a bit of time in there, more by choice than because of the storms we weathered. Maddux had a rough time as the heat battled with his aging hips. Zoey felt like a queen up in the treehouse and had herself a ball.

It's been a long time since I've been able to bring my son to things like this. Even longer since I've been able to do it. They looked like they were having one of the best times of their lives. That's good. Children should get a chance to be children and not have their noses stuck in a phone or computer all day.
That's the best part is detaching from technology and society for a bit.
