Are you a fan of the rich and immersive world behind Splinterlands? This week’s challenge is to dive deep into the lore and bring a twist to stories, characters, or factions!
I expanded the lore in the past, telling you about Franz Ruffmane and the story behind his glory! There are some stories that could change Franz saga, as some say that his big lion heart is shared between two women's hearts!
He is in love with Adelade Brightwing and Captain Katie, but his oath keeps him away from both! There's a higher chance for a glorious death in battle than a happy ending for Franz!
In armor bright, the lion knight did stand,
A heart so brave, yet tethered by fate's hand.
Two ladies fair, each loved him true and deep,
Yet cursed was he, in solitude to weep
If Franz's saga was a sad story about a great hero, for Jasch Mochmul was the the revese! It is a happy story about a betrayer! When the Belurocian Empire joined the rebelion, Barashkukor sent the Darkguard to liberate Necrulencia!
Among them was the onyx orc Jasch Mochmul... the Night Stalker! He made the streets ran red with legionnaire blood and the city was liberated... and then returned to his leader! He was promoted for his betrayal!
Jasch was never one to follow the rules. He was a man who thrived in darkness, always preferring the shadows over the light. He was quick, cunning, and, above all, ambitious.
Early in his career, while still a low-ranking officer, Jasch was notorious for his refusal to follow orders. He was assigned to lead a critical mission, one that required precision and loyalty, but Jasch disobeyed his orders, taking a different route and abandoning his comrades when the situation became dire.
In the heart of the Belurocian Empire, there was a name whispered in fear and awe—Jasch Mochmul, the Night Stalker. His rise from a mere soldier to the supreme leader of the empire was as swift as it was treacherous. His story began in the shadowed corridors of the empire's military, where whispers of disobedience and treachery first began to brew.
Jasch knew how to play the game, manipulating his way through the ranks, using his failures as stepping stones and turning them into triumphs. His cold indifference to the lives of others made him an effective, if morally bankrupt, leader.
His influence grew as he steadily gained control over the military, always taking advantage of the chaos left in his wake. His dark deeds were masked with brilliance, and his loyalty was as malleable as the wind, never truly given to any cause but his own.
Jasch’s most audacious act of betrayal came during a time of war, when he secretly negotiated with the enemy, offering them the empire’s strategic positions in exchange for his own personal power.
At the final moment, when victory was within the empire’s grasp, Jasch betrayed his comrades. Jasch’s rise was meteoric after that, and his enemies learned to fear the silence that preceded his attacks.
The empire’s leadership, hungry for a decisive figure to pull them from the brink of defeat, embraced Jasch as their new leader. They underestimated his true ambitions.
With Jasch at the helm, the Belurocian Empire underwent a transformation. He ruled not through wisdom or diplomacy but through sheer force and manipulation. The shadows that had once cloaked his movements now cast a long, dark pall over the entire empire. Under his rule, fear became the law, and loyalty was a commodity to be bought and sold. He betrayed allies, crushed dissent, and surrounded himself with sycophants who would do his bidding without question. Jasch was a master of the game!
He knew that power was not just about strength; it was about perception. And to the people, he was the hero who had delivered them from the brink of destruction. To his enemies, he was the ultimate predator, a figure who lurked in the dark, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
The Night Stalker had become the leader of the Belurocian Empire. But even as he stood atop the throne, his grip on power was never as secure as it seemed. For those who had risen through treachery often found that the darkness they had embraced would eventually consume them. And even the mightiest of emperors could be undone by the very shadows they had used to rise to power.
The Night Stalker fits well most of the battle rules, but it turns into a beast for Little League duels! When Tarsa is in charge he is upgraded to four melee attack, with many foes going down after a single hit!
Tarsa: +1 Melee & +1 Health
Antoid Platoon: Melee with Shield
Xenith Monk: Melee with Heal
Night Stalker: Melee with Sneak
Uraeus: Melee with Sneak
Gobalano Soldier: Melee with Sneak & Ambush
Clockwork Aide: Support unit with Swiftness
Not only I went for overpowered melee units, but made them faster! The Clockwork Aide boosted everyone's speed, and I had a head start in this battle. Time for quick and sneaky attacks!
The Night Stalker took down the Lava Spider with a single attack, while the Aide's armor kept the mechanical unit alive throughout the first round. The opponents weren't that lucky, as the Night Stalker took out Uraeus!
The Antoid Platoon is always a hard nut to crack, as it gains Scavenger at higher levels. It was late into the game when I noticed that my opponent's summoner was level 6 and many levels above my ones!
Did the level gap made a difference? Not really! The Xenith Monk was the next one to fall, then the Venari Heatsmith few attacks later. I lost my ants but I had it cover! It was the Night Stalker who delivered the final blow! See the full battle here!
For most, this act would have meant disgrace and demotion. But for Jasch, it was the beginning of something far more sinister. Instead of punishment, he was promoted. His strategic thinking, ruthless pragmatism, and ability to outmaneuver his superiors despite his defiance of orders became qualities that the empire’s higher-ups admired.
