At Christmas last year, we started the Liotes Power Challenge. The idea is to stake as much Hive power as possible during 2023. The more you power up, the more rewards you will earn.

The reward pool

The @liotes.one account is the reward pool of this challenge. The income of this account is powered up and delegated to the liotes.voter account. This generates daily dividends in the form of LEN tokens. At the end of the challenge, in December 2023. All the LEN tokens will be distributed to the participants. The staked hive power will stay and continue to earn tokens for next years challenge! This means that next year the rewards will be much bigger!

50% of the rewards of this post directly go to @liotes.one, the reward pot of this challenge

How will the reward pool be distributed?

The total amount of the pot will be distributed to all the people who have a positive sold in Hive Power. The amount that each participant receives will be according to the ranking. The higher your rank, the more you will earn.

We have staked 326'513 HP in 11 months

At the beginning of this challenge, all participants together owned 956'932 HP. Today, we collectively own 1'283'445 Hive Power. This is an increase of 326'513 HP over 11 months. This also takes into account the people who actually powered down Hive.

During the last month, we have increased our collective Hive Power by 36'719 Hive Power. This is the highest monthly power up of the year!

There is only 1 month left in this challenge. The snapshot for the final ranking will be taken on december 26th. Can we reach 350'000 HP ?

I can't believe it's been almost a year now. Time really flies. Well, one more month to go!

This will be the most challenging month in my opinion. I'll be literally flying off for a long holiday for 3 weeks out of the entire December. I'll have to attempt to squeeze in my posts whenever I can.

People who are in the top 70 of the Liotes Ranking are automatically registered in the challenge next year. At the end of this year, we will take a snapshot and start the challenge on this basis. It's however also possible to join the challenge at a later stage if you manage to get into the top 70 later.

haha, I understand that :-). There are 3 ways to get points for the Liotes ranking:

  • staking LENM tokens (these are miner tokens that pay LEN tokens as rewards)
  • delegate Hive Power to our @liotes.voter account. This will also get you daily dividends in the form of LEN tokens
  • take part in our weekly missions

I currently delegate a lot of HP, after withdrawing them I will delegate some HP to the project. Where can I see the weekly tasks. I think I can only get LENM tokens by buying them. Is there any other way?

Where can I see the weekly tasks

We create a weekly Mission post, it's mostly on Wednesday's with the @liotes account. It's often pretty easy to take part.

LENM tokens

Can either be bought on the market or you can swap LEN to LENM in our diesel pool.

A lot of people delegate HP to the project and they get LEN tokens as daily dividends. They then swap the LEN tokens for LENM and stake them. Like that they compound their earnings and at the same time they climb in the ranking. The top 15 of the ranking get monthly rewards :-)

You can swap them from LEN tokens (through a dieselpool) that you will get for delegating HP (and for participating in the #HHHLive 😃)
