My Actifit Report Card: November 24 2024

Had a good jog this morning. A little slippery on the frosty forest trail but I made it into the village and had a look around at some of the Christmas trees. Mostly spruce and balsam. I think we’ll wait another week though.

At least get Thanksgiving out of the way.

Sounds cold where you are! I've not actually seen any trees yet at the grocery stores, but expect them to appear anytime now.

We have been doing an artificial tree for the past 3 years as the last live one we had, left huge piles of tree sap on what was fortunately, the underlayment for the floor we had yet to install at that time! It was so hard that most could not be chisled and my husband had to take a belt sander to it to get the hump out of the floor! Now that we have the hardwood floor laminate in, I'd cry if that happened again. We had never had a tree do that before. IF we ever go back to a live tree (which I would like) I'm going to put plastic down first, just in case.

As for is ours up yet? Not yet, but probably tomorrow. I'd planned on putting it up after Thanksgiving, but unfortunately, I will be working at the optical clinic this year-1st time he's ever remained open after Thanksgiving.🙄
