I love olives too :') but just like you I love a good deal (2+1) more. xD
We don't get them as much in India.
But when I went to turkey 6 years ago, me and my wife used to eat them all day long.

I think it's more normal to have them in certain countries like Spain and maybe Turkey as well. I can't remember if I saw them a lot during my 11 times in Turkey because at that time I was not interested in them, lol.
What I do remember is that they were expensive in Holland as they are imported. Here they are obviously more affordable and with a deal like buy two and get the second one paid back in the savings check, I'm in, haha.
I bet soon I will find more sorts that I love, I just have to keep trying them when they offer them in restaurants for a tapa.
