After the first paragraph I was reminded of a radio program I listen to regularly (yes, I'm oldschool). It's called "Today in history" and they pick the current date but somewhat many years ago and give a five to ten minute report about a person or event connected to that date. The intro to that show ist this song:
And BOOM! from the moment I read your first paragraph throughout the rest of your post I had this song in my head. 😝
