RE: A Well Balanced Goat Cheese Salad

I love bitterballen, my kind of comfort food πŸ˜„. In such premium spot, I am honestly surprised with the portions. Back home, premium spot is usually stingy with portions and all they sell is basically the view. Also, for salads, I would prefer something like greek salads and anything with croutons haha. How many languages can your daughter speak now and what language do you use in your house? is it dutch or English & Spanish?

Haha, they are nice, aren't they? Just insanely priced here in the harbor but haven't found them anywhere else. I could order them online but it's difficult because we live in another area as these shops and they only do fresh deliveries so can't guarantee it will arrive frozen. On top of that, we don't have a fryer and I prefer keeping it that way so having them every once in a while in the harbor is probably best..

I have checked a few other restaurants in the harbor and these had insane prices for insane small portions, I think the two restaurants we regularly visit there are the exceptions.

At home, we speak Dutch overall, but also a lot of English, especially when her tutor comes 6 hours a week, and she prefers watching English cartoons. We're trying to motivate her more for Spanish cartoons but so far she secretly switches it back as soon as she can get away with it, lol.

But we try to implement a lot of Spanish in the past months when we can and she picks up on our chats or phone calls and also tries to read everything she sees in Spanish, which is helping her progress quite fast now. At some point, I hope that she can also learn the Dutch language grammar because you never know when it comes in handy. I enjoy speaking as much Spanish as I can but my boyfriend usually falls back to Dutch quite fast and just uses me as his translator, lol.

Either way, all these languages will be great for her growing up..

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
