My Actifit Report Card: October 26 2024
Hallo liebe Hivians!
Es wird mal wieder Zeit für einen kleinen Beitrag. Sozusagen als "Proof of Life" 😀.
Das ganze Wochenende steckt bei mir voll Programm. Heute morgen bin ich bereits um 09.00 Uhr zum Crossfit und habe dort ein knackiges Workout gemacht.
Wenn dir dein Coach sagt, das man zum Laufen (3 × 800m) Gewicht mitnehmen kann, aber nicht muss. Dann fühlt man sich eigentlich schon dazu genötigt auch ein bisschen was mitzunehmen. Der 9kg Medizinball war aber gar keine so gute Entscheidung. Immerhin war es ein Team-Workout und somit musste ich den Ball nuf die Hälfte der Strecke damit laufen. Dazu kamen dann noch Rope Climbs (3 × 3) und Thruster (3 × 12). Ein schönes Workout.
Nach dem Crossfit ging es nach Hause zum Frühstück und anschließend musste ich die ersten 2 Raummeter Brennholz von der Einfahrtin den Garten transportieren und ordentlich stapeln.
Als dieses erledigt war, haben wir den Vorgarten vom Laub und Unkraut befreit und angefangen mit der Halloween-Deko. Das ganze hatten wir noch nicht vollendet, da mussten wir auch schon weiter zur Rhein. Landesklinik wo Morgen das Herbstfest des Fördervereins stattfindet. Hier haben wir erste Vorbereitungsmaßnahmen für Morgen getroffen.
Nachdem wir zurück waren hat sich meine Frau um die Zubereitung des Abendessen gemacht und unsere Tochtet und ich haben angefangen die ersten Kürbisse für Halloween zu schnitzen.
Für den Anfang sieht es ganz gut aus finde ich.
So, das war es für heute. Jetzt noch ein Glas Wein und dann geht es ab ins Bett!

The whole weekend is full of activities for me. This morning I went to Crossfit at 09.00 and did a crisp workout.
When your coach tells you that you can take weight with you for running (3 × 800m), but you don't have to. Then you actually feel compelled to take a bit of weight with you. But the 9kg medicine ball wasn't such a good decision. After all, it was a team workout and so I had to run with the ball for half the distance. Then there were rope climbs (3 × 3) and thrusters (3 × 12). A great workout.
After Crossfit, we went home for breakfast and then I had to transport the first 2 cubic meters of firewood from the driveway to the garden and stack it neatly.
Once that was done, we cleared the front garden of leaves and weeds and started with the Halloween decorations. We hadn't finished the whole thing yet when we had to drive on to the Rhein. Landesklinik where the fall festival of the Förderverein takes place tomorrow. Here we made the first preparations for tomorrow.
After we got back, my wife took care of preparing dinner and our daughter and I started carving the first pumpkins for Halloween.
I think it looks pretty good to start with.
So, that's it for today. Now a glass of wine and then it's off to bed!
