My Actifit Report Card: April 8 2025

Guten Abend Hivians und Actifitter,

Der heutige Tag begann ziemlich frustrierend. Seit ungefähr zwei Wochen kann ich meine linke Schulter wieder beim Sport benutzen und habe auch wieder mit Pull-Ups und Push-Ups angefangen. Für heute war dann auch ein Kontrolltermin bei meinem Orthopäden vorgesehen.

Heute Morgen konnte ich dann plötzlich meinen rechten Arm nicht mehr belasten. Sogar das Zähne putzen war eine Herausforderung. Meine Laune ging dann bereits heute früh tief in den Keller.

Wahrscheinlich habe ich heute Nacht auf dem Arm geschlafen und mir irgendwas eingeklemmt. Im Laufe des Vormittags sind dann die Beschwerden abgeklungen und der Arm konnte wieder belastet werden.

Also hing es am Abend wieder zum Crossfit. Nach einem Kraftteil (Deadlifts) gab es ein Hero-Workout mit dem Namen "Sham", das Sgt. David "Sham" Wieger gewidmet ist, der 2007 im Irak gefallen ist.

Das Workout ist ein schnelles Workout bei dem man nicht viel Zeit hat für Pausen. Ich habe das Workout nach knapp 10 Minuten beendet. Für die Deadlifts habe ich eine Hantel mit 70kg genommen. Es wären sicherlich auch noch 5 bis 10 kg mehr drin gewesen. Allerdings tendiere ich zu einem angemessenem Gewicht und dafür eine saubere Durchführung der Wiederholungen.

Fazit:
Tolles schnelles Workout das Spaß macht.

Today started out pretty frustrating. I've been able to use my left shoulder for sport again for about two weeks now and have also started doing pull-ups and push-ups again. A check-up appointment with my orthopaedist was also scheduled for today.

This morning I was suddenly unable to put any weight on my right arm. Even brushing my teeth was a challenge. My mood plummeted this morning.

I probably slept on my arm last night and pinched something. The discomfort subsided during the morning and I was able to put weight on my arm again.

So it was back to Crossfit in the evening. After a strength section (deadlifts), there was a hero workout called “Sham”, dedicated to Sgt. David “Sham” Wieger, who was killed in Iraq in 2007.

The workout is a fast-paced workout where you don't have much time for breaks. I finished the workout after just under 10 minutes. I used a 70 kg barbell for the deadlifts. I could certainly have done with 5 to 10 kg more. However, I tend to use an appropriate weight and perform the repetitions cleanly.
